Scream? Rollercoasters. I always scream at the first drop and it turns into a laugh by the time we get to the bottom.

Not only did I somehow (?) score FREE parking, I got an awesome spot where this short girl could see EVERYTHING, but I also ended up walking in the parade at the end and TOUCHING THE MOTHER FUCKING STANLEY CUP!!!

Right now what makes me scream is how long it takes to grade papers that students write that are plagiarized and only partly address the topic. Oh, and let’s not forget atrocious grammar. Usually it is only 2 or 3 out of the bunch. This class has about 10 or so that fall into that group. 2 weeks and 1 day left (well grading will last after that). Of course I don’t have one starting after that so that is a problem. Oh yeah. Blame too, while I am at it.

@tinamarie1974 Not if I want to keep my job I can’t. I’ll ‘trade up’ if I manage to find a replacement. I am required to “work with them”… umm yeah 1/8 to 1/5 of the class reads announcements (this is online). I know because I tied several announcements to extra credit (send an email with your name and EC in the subject line - how hard it that?) just to confirm what I suspected.
@Kidsandliz that is terrible, why are they even there if they don’t care. I had to work my butt off for all my “papers” and earned every grade I received. I am sorry you have to put up with that type of crap

TIL yesterday, @tinamarie1974. Podunk Wichita has a bigger population than St. Louis, Missouri. Who’d a thunk it? (No, that’s not counting the whole metro area.)
@Barney honestly not surprised. The population of the City of St Louis has been declining for years. No one wants to live there; failing schools, theft, murders, etc…
I even left out of the city to live in a more rural setting a few years ago. It was just becoming too much.

@tinamarie1974 Just a number of things. It’s boring, nothing to do. Crappy weather, very crappy weather. It’s WICHITA, would you want to live here? Also it’s in Kansas.
@Barney I mean that is what people in STL say, but I am betting none of them have ever been. I tend to like to decide on my own but have not had a chance to visit. I made it as far as Lenexa early this month.
