We have made it to hump day, which is also National Jerky Day. National Jerky Day was created to celebrate the rich history, immense popularity and nutritional benefits of dried meat. I feel like there is a joke in there somewhere

@tinamarie1974 my grandparents (on my mom’s side) were born near Alpena, South Dakota, back in the 1910’s. These days Alpena is just a wide spot in the road, but it does have a Jack Link jerky factory. So…I am a Child of Jerky, in a way.
