yakkoTDI: Boo!
IDTokkay: Boooo!
yakkoTDI: That was the worst thing I’ve ever heard!
IDTokkay: It was terrible!
yakkoTDI: Horrendous!
IDTokkay: Well it wasn’t that bad.
yakkoTDI: Oh, yeah?
IDTokkay: Well, there were parts of it I liked!
yakkoTDI: Well, I liked a lot of it.
IDTokkay: Yeah, it was GOOD actually.
yakkoTDI: It was great!
IDTokkay: It was wonderful!
yakkoTDI: Yeah, bravo!
IDTokkay: More!
yakkoTDI: More!
IDTokkay: More!
yakkoTDI: More!
@f00l Oh, I’ve been hearing them called “shackets.”
I think plaid is always around in some form. The sports reporter on TV here right now is wearing a plaid tie.
Me too.
Absolutely
Probably
I can see the reviews now.

@yakkoTDI
Best review I’ve ever read.
Ooohhhhh!!
I saw the title on the homepage and assumed ‘mint in package’ like in an eBay listing title.
@PooltoyWolf I happened to guess at the correct reference, but thought “Men in Purple” instead.
Do they still sell plaid stuff at Walmart?
(Other than PJ’s)
Maybe plaid “shoats”?
I’m told that “shoat” = “coat” crossed with “shirt”
IE one of those (often, plaid) padded, insulated shirts.

@Kyeh
Glad to know plaid is still on TV
@f00l Actually our main news anchor is known for wearing plaid sports jackets, it’s kind of his thing. Some of them are deliberately extra garish.
@f00l @Kyeh
I’d love to see his golfing attire! My grandfather had some real doozies, garish doesn’t begin to describe them!
@Kyeh
I heard that
black fleece or black running or mountain clothing and gear (with black trail sandals or black mountain or running sports shoes) attire
is considered to be equivalent to
white tie or dress uniforms with medals, or evening formal wear with full jewelry and tiaras; royalty with sashes*
As long as one is in the mountain areas of Colorado.
Especially in Boulder.
