My day: Get up at 6:00, shower, wake everyone up. Load husband, two kids, and 200 lbs worth of dogs into the minivan and drive 3 hours to my mom’s to celebrate her birthday. Drive three hours home making it into the house at 11:40 pm. Unload the van, let the dogs pee, feed the cats, fix the dogs’ dinner, unload the cooler and set the coffee maker for the morning. Rinse out all the cat and dog bowls and realize the kitchen clock says 11:59. Run to the living room and dig my phone out of my purse. All the dozens of times trying to win a BOC on the old woot and the dozen plus times on meh trying to get a fuku and failed everytime because I’m always at work on a crappy connection.

So I thought, let me restart my old computer (2011 Mini) so all memory/cache is clear and only my browser is running.
I restarted it at 7:54… at 7:58 it was at this point . It then was at the sign-in screen and I started the browser. It took until just after 8:00 to be up and me on meh.
I had also been on my phone, just in case… but was met by picture captcha. I am never picture captcha’d!!! Harder on a phone when the pictures are so small. After 4 or 5 round of images, I got back to the check box and watched the green bar.
While I was waiting, I also tried on the now up meh on my computer… got to check mark captcha, and had no pictures.
Came back as no longer available.
The new name suggestion thread is not working either, so can’t give mine at the moment… guess will have to wait til 4pm for the real unlucky bag to be maybe be mine.

@PocketBrain mine went to middle Tennessee, which is 4 hours west of me, to northern Ohio, which is 9 hours north of me, then to North Carolina, 3 hours east of me. Then it finally arrived here. I understand these packages are flying coach and they just take whatever route is most convenient, but I can’t see how it’s economical.

Received my Fuko a week ago right before I went on vacation. I found a large AOC box waiting on the porch. When I got back from vacation, I hastily powered it on to be greeted with flashing colors. It was stuck in the factory test mode. My day: Get up at 6:00, shower, wake everyone up. Load husband, two kids, and 200 lbs worth of dogs into the minivan and drive 3 hours to my mom’s to celebrate her birthday. Drive three hours home making it into the house at 11:40 pm. Unload the van, let the dogs pee, feed the cats, fix the dogs’ dinner, unload the cooler and set the coffee maker for the morning. Rinse out all the cat and dog bowls and realize the kitchen clock says 11:59. Run to the living room and dig my phone out of my purse. Well that sucks 20 fukus and I failed trying to buy one.
And I wrote up several suggestions on the name the new bag earlier and it crashed when I tried to submit.
All the dozens of times trying to win a BOC on the old woot and the dozen plus times on meh trying to get a fuku and failed everytime because I’m always at work on a crappy connection.
How do people win one let alone multiple over the years? Do you have to have a lightening fast connection?
@OnionSoup My connection is average. I guess I got lucky with the captcha this time (5 road clicks before verify). Otherwise I have pretty much done the same thing and I usually still get to hit “just buy it already” only to be told we are all sold out.

So I thought, let me restart my old computer (2011 Mini) so all memory/cache is clear and only my browser is running.
I restarted it at 7:54… at 7:58 it was at this point
. It then was at the sign-in screen and I started the browser. It took until just after 8:00 to be up and me on meh.
I had also been on my phone, just in case… but was met by picture captcha. I am never picture captcha’d!!! Harder on a phone when the pictures are so small. After 4 or 5 round of images, I got back to the check box and watched the green bar.
While I was waiting, I also tried on the now up meh on my computer… got to check mark captcha, and had no pictures.
Came back as no longer available.
The new name suggestion thread is not working either, so can’t give mine at the moment… guess will have to wait til 4pm for the real unlucky bag to be maybe be mine.

When I went to order at 8am, I was offered a couple weird shipping options I hadn’t seen before and in my confusion the Fukos sold out.
I thought to just get one reserved for VMPs at 4pm, but that didn’t show up for me. Upon further investigation, I’m apparently ex-VMP but I never cancelled. This is mehssed up.

@blackadder It looks like I signed up for VMP with my first order in August 2014. In the 47 months since then, I’ve only placed 19 orders so I definitely wasn’t getting my money’s worth–I don’t think I ever used the 4pm VMP reserved stock either. But I was always happy to pay the $5/mo. Oh well.

I love watching the tracking on these SmartPost packages; it was in Georgia near Atlanta yesterday. I’m in SE Georgia. Today it’s in Orlando.
@PocketBrain mine went to middle Tennessee, which is 4 hours west of me, to northern Ohio, which is 9 hours north of me, then to North Carolina, 3 hours east of me. Then it finally arrived here. I understand these packages are flying coach and they just take whatever route is most convenient, but I can’t see how it’s economical.
@capguncowboy Are you in TN? I am in East TN. Mine seem to be taking two different routes. Some are going through Memphis and then to NC and some hit Goodlettsville, TN, then KY, and then to OH and now are in Concord, NC.
@tnhillbillygal yeah, in the Bristol area (Bluff City to be exact). That’s pretty much the route my packages are taking too. They used to go through Atlanta, but that has apparently changed recently.

I got three of my contest boxes today. I have to say, I’m gobsmacked. No photos yet, I need to take a Xanax to calm down.
So, there were two good sized boxes and one smaller box. The smaller box rattled. My mind went back to the warning of the trash boxes. I saved that one for last.

I don’t use face cream I figure I should have started thirty years ago, why start now. I have a bottle of Oil of Olady that I’ve had for probably at least ten years. Received my Fuko a week ago right before I went on vacation. I found a large AOC box waiting on the porch. I eagerly opened it up to find a 24" G-Sync monitor and the original shipping label from sears to some guy named Mohamed. When I got back from vacation, I hastily powered it on to be greeted with flashing colors. It was stuck in the factory test mode. My 8am Fuko is finally moving a step beyond Processing!
I was getting nervous/excited watching all the others pour in and decided to try and track by reference on FedEx and found out a label was created today for mine!
Looks like I have a 6x4x1 1lb package on the way. If this is correct, I’m anticipating some playing cards but we’ll see!

@OldCatLady yeah I’m trying not to get too excited thinking about the heavily extended processing time (that is compared to the many others who have gotten theirs already) but it will be interesting to see, it’s my first ever. Fuku!

1x pink magnetic Bluetooth earbuds (not sure if these work, gotta do some more tinkering, can’t figure it out so far)
1x cell phone lens kit (appears new)

1x set of Pearl Earrings the wife will like these!
1x golf ball (not sure if it’s new or not, the dog took that one pretty quick)
Overall I’m stoked as this is my first one and I’m so happy I didn’t get total crap.

Writing this way late, but it disappointed my even low expectations. A damaged go-kart kit for a hoverboard (not included) that sort of assembles, an empty make-up box, and a not working car jump-starter.
@nickeckhoff I got that go-kart too! Now I’m waiting for a hover board to magically arrive at my door.
