I think that’s true for a lot of the items today… I would have spent way too much money today if items were cheaper… I know branding stuff in the numbers Meh is.doing isn’t cheap though.
@OnionSoup@thechooz you’re correct…these are a little “spendy”. A few weeks ago i bought 5 pairs of fancy etched stainless steel chopsticks for $8.99. (They were a gift…dang I’m cheap!).
@earmstrong I’ve never had my metal chopsticks taken from me or even really had any questions raised about them. Always carry chopsticks and a spork while traveling.
Were these a nod to the short-term swarm of Korean visitors that I saw mentioned in one of the recent history lessonsreminiscences here in the forum?
(At least, it was my understanding that metal chopsticks is a Korean thing, but in my extremely quick check to verify that right now, it looks like maybe they’re used a little bit everywhere but are more common in Korea.)
