Meh-rathon Post Mortum
6Sorry about the crappy title, it was the best I could come up with on short notice.
The question that I have is whether someone can buy stuff that is left over from the Meh-rathon on the day after (which would be today) because they saw it on the Meh-rathon and were thinking about it, but then life happened and meh offerings do not really take precedence over life happening.
I’m not asking for an IRK or something else that sold out in a zeptosecond, but instead, the toy tepee with the wood spikes. If it is not sold out, I’d be interested in picking one up after thinking about it some more.
Please let me know. Thanks.

@artemaria nope, too late. Sorry.
But it is over on MorningSave for a little more. (Click pic to go there)
I tried to purchase and IRK and I opted-in for the month membership as part of the purchase.
The IRK purchase failed (it sold out before I completed by purchase) but Meh still charged me $5 for the Membership even though my order never went through.
So my postmortem is that the Meh-rathon felt a little scammy to me, but I guess that’s what we expect from most things coming out of Texas these days…
@GenCurmudgeon If you cancel without purchasing anything they will refund the membership. I think you need to do it before a month passes though.
@GenCurmudgeon If you do not plan to use the Membership you can contact customer support and ask for a refund.
@GenCurmudgeon Same thing happened to me a few months back. Meh was good on refunding after reporting the problem to them. Since so few IRK purchases are successful I imagine this must happen quite often. They should really resolve that as it’s an annoying inconvenience to have the correction made. I wonder how many people don’t even realize it and just miss the charge?
@GenCurmudgeon that happened to me in the previous mehrathon
They refunded
Thanks, I did already cancel it, so I’m glad to know that I won’t be charged!
My comments about Texas still stand though.
I agree that it would make a lot of sense to make Mehrathon purchases available the following day. Especially for the ones later in the day on the Mehrathon-day, there is only very little time left to pick up leftover-items. Hope that someone at mediocre labs picks up on the idea.
@datruandi Oooo…that could be a new perk for us suckers…erm…VMPs.
Is there a “post meh-rathon” section at MorningSave or Sidedeals?
Seems I remember that when they did the first rapid-fire mehrathon (the may 2020 “Everything” pandemic one) the ICYMI list stayed active for a couple days afterwards. I could be wrong.
