Meh I have to say...
1I’m trying something. It’s not going to be pretty (or will it). I realized I have almost everything for a tier 1 burn deck in modern. I’m going got try it. But I really was thinking. How great would it be if I had meh or meh.com sleeves. So looking at one of my favorite sleeve companies… Legion. They do custom sleeves. But you have to order a bloody ton of them (2160 packs of 50 each.) So. If meh were to sell double matte meh sleeves for card games. I’d be down for 10+ Packs . Anyone else?

I’ve never been a fan of the texture of Legion sleeves, but out of the big players they seem like they’d be the easiest to get customs from for sure. 2160 packs, though? There has to be someone out there doing print on demand; seems like there’d be a lot of money in that.
Also good god, how long have you been working on acquiring the cards for a tier one modern deck? I moved away from Magic toward Netrunner because I got tired of getting priced out of being competitive, even with friends.
@harrison Netrunner!
@harrison actually. I was working on a soulsisters build and realized I had almost all the expensive cards for the tier 1 burn. I didn’t realize that the cards I valued at $.50 were really worth $10 and the ones I thought were $20 are closer to $100… The prices have fluctuated. I’ve had the goblin guides since they were standard. The lands I’ve been working on. And while I don’t have the exact cards I have ones that work the same (fetch lands are there only to fetch mountains. I have fetches for mountains, just not the blue red ones, and blue isn’t used anyway…) I need to drop about $30-40 to finish it but it’s much more reasonable than the $100-200 for competitive soul sisters. I’ll take a pic of my collection…
@harrison I’ve been playing from timespiral on… So I’ve played through most of the modern sets… Anyway. Rare binders.
Messy desk but sorting a few decks and I’ve started cataloging and removing more than 4x of a card in a set…
About 1/3 of the boxes storing the common/uncommons by block.
@harrison sorry. I got caught up in my sharing. I like the legion matte. The shiny not as much. Yes I have heard of another place but they don’t seal it and you have to use card sleeve protectors. Seriously why do my card sleeves need protection? I have a few of the older KMC and Legions. They last pretty well. Dragon shield not so much for me. I have really old ones though. And ultra pro are crap. Net runner is the same size right? So you could get some sweet meh sleeves out of it! . Also if there are any extra meh stickers. I’d pay for them. They are awesome!
I would probably buy some for an EDH deck or two, as I seem to buy almost anything meh branded and have far too many EDH decks…
Ever have one of those days when you log in and all the words appear to be in English but they make no sense? This is one of those days and one of those posts…WTH?
@tightwad Yep, I totally agree. I feel like I need a decoder ring.
@tightwad It’s kinda like getting email from a Chinese vendor thanking me for my purchase. I’ve learned to worry only if I’m smelling toast while trying to make sense of it.
As for the sleeves, I initially thought the subject was maybe about long sleeved T shirts, and then tattoos.
I need to get out more.
Most all of my shirts already have sleeves.
I guess sewing some fancy meh-sleeves on would be an option…
I somewhat understood this was about Magic: The Gathering (I had no idea people still played that). I did have to google “modern burn deck”, though.
I somewhat disagree that it would be cool for meh to put out gaming products.
I’d like a meh.com brushed horse hair sable 32 hair strand 600-800 micrometer fine point “paint the iris and pupil inside of the eye of a two inch tall dwarf’s figurine by hand and magnifying glass” watercolor paintbrush, and the cost would only be about ten thousand per thousand brushes…
… but it’s not going to happen
@j0da Or maybe meh-beer? meh-Scotch?
