I used to handle hazmat shipments for my job. We got a call from a customer one day saying he had "sort of" received his package. Apparently the (third party) delivery driver had thrown the box labeled, "explosives" over the fence and his dog wound up eating it before he could get to it.
@Kleineleh I have a hard time believing that FedEx or the like will ship boxes labeled "Explosives" and then throw it over a fence. Or maybe that's why they threw it over the fence... throw and run.
@dunda Yeah, we did too. Of course, that particular company does not ship HazMat anymore, so maybe you're right. Maybe their drivers were all too scared of it!
@Hart please tell me we can find and immediately hire this service
@MEHcus we're not already using it?
I like how the option for a shed / outbuilding is more likely than a secure front porch or a garage. Detatched is fancier.
@bluedyn I believe this was also the source list for Cousin Eddie to dispose of ... Things....

@Kleineleh not the first time a hot dog became an explosive issue for that customer
@Kleineleh is their a happy ending ? I want to know the dog is ok.
@ceagee Yes. If I remember correctly, he was calling to get the MSDS for the vet and it was all relatively harmless
