Meh.com - Mom Approved
17I was on the phone this morning with my mother and I told her I scored a Bag of Crap last night. This prompted her to ask about Meh and if she could buy another one of those cool boxes (a Fukubukuro). She said she really liked it. This surprised me because she isn't super tech-savvy and never seems to get excited about websites. She even remembered the sites name!
She owns a little thrift store back home, so all of the random Meh stuff I can't use goes to her. I also tell her about good deals on things she might be able to use like comforters and batteries.
Anyway, I just thought I would share because in all the years I was on Woot, she never seemed to be interested in it. Meh, however, gets the Mom Seal of Approval.

That's awesome! I'm always delighted when my mom texts me about Meh. She's bought a bunch of stuff from us and even complained that she couldn't get the most recent Fukubukuro.
I remember asking if she liked the story for our first offering of speaker docks and she said "F yeah!"
@JonT Your Mom sounds cool. So now 2 out of 2 Moms agree- Meh is where it's at.
Over the weekend I converted my long-standing-Woot-only family over to the Meh side. "They never heard of it." I showed them the kickstarter and my order history, needless to say you have 3-5 more mehmbers coming your way.
@xarous If only there was a referral program. Bring in 5 members who buy stuff, get a crappy t-shirt or something. Maybe a badge.
