Stroopwafels, fidget spinners, disposable flashlights, condoms, etc.
/showme 3 confused trick or treaters picking an item from a box of random junk like old batteries, fidget spinners, CDRs, jelly shoes
I loved it when they did the big lots of light-up fidget spinners. I took them to a Sparkle Party and handed them out to fabulous drunk people. They were a huge hit.
@mycya4me@Pony@mycya4me@Pony Handed out the last of my spinners last Halloween and the kids still seemed to be happy with them. This year, as I understand it, needs to have something to do with the numbers 6 and 7? Maybe I can print up some stickers of Count von Count?
@kuoh@mycya4me@Pony I handed fidget spiners out for halloween in 2017 and kids were screaming, “This house has fidget spinners!!!”. The entire street was lit up with them.
@Kidsandliz@kuoh@Pony I have a 3d Printer so I print my own. I also sell some of them to help offset the cost of the Filament! People also love dragons!
I also need something cool for trick-or-treaters. Fidget spinners made us “that house,” and we keep having to find cool, new, neat things to give out. There are only so many glow-in-the-dark rubber duckies around.
@Thumperchick Yes the fidget spinner year I was mobbed. On top of the ones I had gotten for free I had bought a bunch when meh was dumping the last of their supply. Fortunately (?) it was only a one year job so I wasn’t there to witness the disappointment the following year.
I was a block down the street from a falling down Victorian house that was on Ghost Busters so our street was always had tons of kids (fortunately I was warned in advance). And in that giant supply only 4 had dead batteries. Not to mention my college students were ready to kill each other over these when I offered them up as a prize - the choice was extra credit points or a fidget spinner for the group that won the activity - and none chose extra credit points.

200 item pack of candy corn all melted together?
/image “melted candy corn”

I found these at Target & had to try them. They smell like candy corn but the flavor is pretty weak.
@Kyeh Got your Hershey’s and grahams (and George Foreman grill or Meh flameless candles) ready for candy corn s’mores yet?
Please report back if/when.
Would it be blasphemy to put those into the yams for Thanksgiving dinner?
@troy - you’re up!

@caffeineguy Have you jumped on tonight’s offer? These candies are kind of new & cool, or so I’ve read.
