Mediocre Socks
7So a few weeks ago Meh sent out some free Mediocre socks. By mistake mine were sent to my grandparent's house. Unexpectedly, the socks turned out to be far from mediocre. My grandfather LOVES them and swears they are the only thing that cures his edema. He is so proud of these socks he shows them off to his other elderly friends with swelling extremities. Anyways, is there anyway I could buy a few more pairs? He would be most appreciative. Who knew mediocrity cures.

The socks were made for Mediocre by Foot Cardigan http://www.footcardigan.com/ @bearsuit is affiliated with Foot Cardigan ("I made them") so if you give a shout-out (oops! guess I just did) maybe he can tell you how similar their subscription socks would be to the ones made for Mediocre.
Of course, if your grandfather loves the Mediocre branding as much as the socks, that will make it more difficult. There are some people here who got them but can't use them, so maybe you could buy a few from other forum mehmbers.
You rang? Thanks @gio for looping me in here. You're a real dandy.
So, @wpml27, I am indeed the maker of these un-mediocre Mediocre socks (co-founder of Foot Cardigan). I do have plenty of socks that are of similar awesome quality. Unfortunately, none of them are Mediocre socks. They are in the hands of the evil people who run Mediocre. They're probably just laughing to themselves and making it rain with leftover socks right now. I actually don't know that, but your best bet at this point would be to reach out to them and see if they have any extra pairs.
Hopefully that helps. But thank you for the kind words. I'm glad to know our socks double as an ointment. I'll put that in the FAQ's.
@bearsuit Off topic, but I think your website is one of the coolest site I've ever been too. If I was making enough to buy awesome socks, I definitely would be subscribing.
@bearsuit p.s. you should design some wild socks that would go with my shoe company: www.bosfootwear.com
@bearsuit Awesome. Thanks. In for a subscription.
@luvche21 thank you so much. when you're ready and able, use the code MEDIOCRE for 10% off.
@luvche21 something that would really trip people out through the holes in the shoes. i like it.
@bearsuit Exactly -- a bright bright green, yellow, orange, or pink with those black shoes -- it would take a certain type of person to wear the combo (definitely not me), but it would be pretty cool!
I love purple.
@bearsuit, I'm waiting for the mediocre-specific coupon code before signing up. Anyone else?
@bearsuit one more question. Is the aforementioned mediocre sock indicative of your adult sized socks? I find the.. heel imprint... a little misaligned. I'm sure it's because my foot is the perfect size and your sock is not. Or the other way around.
@marklog use MEDIOCRE for 10% off at checkout. Boom.
@marklog yeah, it's pretty much the same. however, some designs fit just a little different than others due to the amount of thread in them. but generally, they are the same. too bad your foot sucks.
@bearsuit boom! Thank you sir. @jont, sing this man's praises! Let the whole mediocre world that some of their disposable income should be diverted away from.... Oh. Hmm.
@bearsuit regarding my foot sucking- after some basic troubleshooting I solved the problem. The first time I wore the socks was the day that I received them. I was far too excited to wash them first. Once washed they became normal socks. They are operational as I type. Also, in for one! ty again for the code.
@bearsuit Thanks for the coupon! I just signed up for a 6 month ladies subscription. So exciting!!! (yeah, my life is so boring that even socks are exciting to me.) BTW love the photo of you in the girl scout uniform. Ya got some cute knees there.
@bearsuit thanks for the coupon code. I got my socks yesterday and was dissapointed that the socks did not have the same feel as my incredible mediocre socks. I haz a sad.
@conandlibrarian please no haz a sad. because each design is different, it requires different amounts of thread depending on the pattern. more involved patterns have more thread and will appear thicker or softer. in reality, we use the same blend of fabric in all our socks, it's just the amount of thread in each pattern that makes it feel different. ultimately, if you aren't happy, email customers service and we'll take care of you. thanks!
@bearsuit Awesome! Thanks for the quick and very helpful response!
@wpml27 Since they're for your grandpa, I'd be happy to donate my pair to him. Brandy new, still have the tags attached. They are way too big for me and I was at a loss as to what to do with them. Helping out your grandfather would be my pleasure. Email me at caroltz12@gmail.com and I can send them to you.
@bluedog You are a nice person.
@bearsuit - for a 3 month subscription, if i just pay once, it's $33. but, if i pay monthly, it's $9/month (no wrapping because i hate fun). am i missing something here?
Never mind. i forgot that my VMP status doesn't apply to your shipping charges.
@carl669 but you're also not missing anything. $9/month doesn't include shipping (calculated at checkout). The $33 does include it.
