Closest you'll come to a meh-off as of now it seems...
Mayhemsale.com - pretty creative marketing
Home Shopping Network finally got a website?
Trying to buy something is worse than trying to get a fukubukuro, had something in my cart but it sold out before I could buy it. Now I can't even get the pages to load.
@iluvmingos that happened to me too.
Love the privacy policy. http://www.mayhemsale.com/privacy-security/
@Headly it's actualy the guy from allstate, i have no idea why they are doing this...
@axleman1011 OK I get it. It's a viral marketing thing tied into those commercials with the mayhem guy. Allstate's marketing budget is way too big.
Allstate really? I'm cornfused.. Probably all that HFCS. I'm confused too.
The site appears to be broken, which of course makes me really really want to see it.
Brilliant! This is truly creative marketing, seriously. How many doofuses think it's real? Ahaha!
@meow57 I'm going to get that $200 car if I have to F5 that page for a week.
@meow57 I think they really are selling stuff. Or at least there are people on Twitter who think they have purchased things.
@meow57 It's not a real shopping site, but it looks like this is a creative way for them to give away a car.
More like Mehhemsale.
I tried to buy a paper bag for 29 cents (and free shipping!) just to see what would happen and it said I was too slow. Somebody else got it.
Did you guys see the popup ad from allstate? I love it.
What a creative way to market.I wonder who got the 2014 car for $200. Damn.
I'd switch insurance companies.
I know this is a marketing stunt (clever as it may be), but did they actually sell the items on the site?
Thanks for sharing this. I bought the pink stapler. Then went to bed. There was no way I had a shot at the car.
I got a confirmation and they charged me $1. Let's see if they come through with stapler.
Seems like it would be very easy to catch the burglar...
