I was very much considering this until I saw how the long strap attaches to the bag at the base of the handles rather than with d-rings on the top of each end.
It seems like it would hang funny as a cross body this way.
Plus…I suppose I should not be eying up handbags when, as a leather crafter, I could just make my own.
@k4evryng I was considering getting one, but once I got my ruler out, I realized how big that thing is. I can’t see anyone wearing it as a cross-body bag
@mediocrebot Climbing line wrapped around hand? No. Face? What face? Right leg is very misshapen. This is obviously a bot that’s not designed to be convincing.
@dgmoney This typically means that the brand has been ditched from Amazon (usually for review manipulation violations) and the importer/seller is remaindering their stock to clear space for their next “brand name” to take its place. It’s a pattern that has been seen regularly. It also means that there is absolutely no real warranty beyond the 90 days you’ll get from Meh. Brands like these are the hallmarks of an import/marketing outfit with zero actual manufacturing back-end. The “company” pops into existence instantly when the container(s) of product hit the port here, and then vanishes in a puff of fog when it’s convenient to do so. Sometimes, that’s because they were selling crap. Sometimes, it’s because they were crappy sellers.
@dgmoney the manufacturer/brand is not selling their bags on Meh. Meh is selling their bags because a Meh buyer likely bought the entire stock of them at an even deeper discount for taking the whole lot of merchandise off their hands. Could be for a number of reasons - the Tacklife stuff was for the Amazon reason, but bags could be because they’re last year’s model and haven’t moved and warehousing this stuff costs money and keeps them from having room for this year’s model.

I don’t know how merchants think they can sell a purse without showing a shot of the inside.
@platkus
Picture 5 shows it, minimally.
I think a picture of it being worn would be helpful, too.
@platkus My wife just looks at the outside, making sure it matches her shoes.
@Kyeh @platkus Nope, picture #5 is the inside of the wallet. The inside of the purse is still a mystery.
@lrichman @platkus Oh, you’re right! I agree completely, then. SHOW THE INSIDE!
What happened to the shirts for the whiners?
So now the Skye is falling?
(I know, it’s late… I’ve got satchels under my eyes. Yawn.
I mean, Meh.)

@k4evryng wow very cool.

What a ludicrously capacious bag. I can carry my flats for the subway in that. Maybe even my lunch pail!
@johnnycakes I know; it’s huge!
A satchel is a much better name. Never use “the old bag” in front of your wife.
@hchavers Satchel is a great name because even Indiana Jones wore a satchel. It’s definitely not a man purse.
@dskin1127 @hchavers It was called a map case in the info I saw, if I recall correctly. The terminology may vary.
The photoshopped final picture on each day’s offering is technically not what keeps me checking every day, it certainly helps.
Today, however, I am concerned that Meh’s photoshoppers have started borrowing from @mediocrebot…
/showme a mountain climber scaling the side of an oversized satchel
@mediocrebot I think you forgot what a satchel is.

“Get a brand new bag”? James Brown predicted Papa’s got a brand new bag in 1965! It’s now 2023, and came true!
@danexton I assume whoever designed that album cover was not too good at poker, or was there an inside joke involved?
Malibu Skye sounds like a Stripper’s name
@somf69 Or something from Mattel
@somf69 @werehatrack
There’s a difference?
Why would Malibu Skye sell their bags on Meh for a discount while keep their website as sold-out?
