no. just no. whenever I stay up to see what the deal is, it's utter crap. when I check it at random am time when I wake up to pee, it's mediocre. if I wait till morning, it's decent to excellent & sold out.
@ekw Don't lose any sleep anymore. I am up when the deal is on and still up when you go pee. It's all really crap stuff almost all the time, yea pretty much all the time. I do it cause it's late at night and I am bored. I want to reassure you that you are missing nothing. So, if you can sleep soundly my friend, know that your comfortable sleep is much more valuable then anything meh could have for sale.
I bought 5 USB sticks with broken headphones last time. They serve their purpose. My daughter loves her Tweety music player, and Sylvester's head looks quite good sticking out of the USB port on my car stereo.
Luckily Tweety works well with my daughter's Elmo headphones, since all five of these came with broken headphones (open wires -- sound cuts out when wire moves).
I'd buy a lot more crap from here if it wasn't for the front loaded shipping. If they just made everything $0.45 more expensive but with "free" slow boat shipping, my kids would be listening to looney tunes in 6-8 weeks. At $8.45, I'm probably in. At $13, no thanks.
@rufwork What are you talking about? A. The shipping here is comparitively cheap. B. You can get free shipping for the entire month for the price of shipping something once. I don't know many places with prices this low where you can get a deal that good.
@PurplePawprints Maybe true in general, but these would take a stamp or two for first-class mail. And free shipping for the month is pretty meaningless for us folks who just don't order two things a month here.
@PurplePawprints Not a good reading comprehension morning, I'll assume. ;)
I didn't say the shipping was expensive. I said when I haven't bought anything within the last month, I'm much less likely to buy cheaper crap like this, because it FEELS expensive to pay (cheap +$5) for this item.
If they spread the same $5 out over the items, say $0.45 higher for each, and shipped even more inexpensively, they might break even -- and I'd buy more crap.
The $5 for this item, and MAYBE you'll get to use that again this month is, for us shipping-sensitive buyers, a marketing turn-off. Charge the same amount but spread it out over all the items.
Sorry if that's still to opaque. I thought we had good readers on the forum that got subtlety.
"I said when I haven't bought anything within the last month....." No, you didn't say that, @rufwork said that. Unless you're the same person using different names in the same discussion. And why would someone do that? What nefarious things are going through your mind?
We haven't given away any of the ones we bought the first time yet. Every time I think we've got a birthday party to go to where we can hand one off, the party gets cancelled or one of my kids gets sick. So, no more for me tonight.
WTF ain't these cheaper by the dozen? I hope this pleases my great niece as much as it pleases me. And I'm in love with my order number: tearful-underwhelmed-lizard.
@meow57 Well, I guess my phone was just being a punk then. The five minute warning came through on time, but I didn't get the new item notification until 12:17.
Bout time there was another el cheapo item I could buy without thinking too hard about it or caring how good it was! I was starting to feel like I was wasting money on my VMP program
I am a big fan of old radio shows. I keep Sylvester loaded with Bogie and Bacall and keep him in my purse. Now if I have time to kill or want to take a walk in the park I can listen to Bold Venture. And no, they did not pay me to say that.
Got this for my 3 year old nephew. I know he will love it and his parents will hate it. Thank you meh for selling things I know a child will love and my brother will hate. Payback is a bitch.
Got two Tweetys to go with the three Sylvesters I got the last time. What the hell I'll do with all of these players, I haven't a clue. But I've also got a buttload of Sansas I bought at woot a bazillion years ago...
I do 99% of my work on Linux systems. Less than 1% is done on a Windows XP system that has not been upgraded or connected to a network since 2007. There are a few programs that are licensed to that machine, and some hardware with similar aged drivers. I use thumb drives to get data on and off the machine.
Tweety and Sylvester will be easier to keep straight than my identical small boring black and grey super fast 32Gbyte USB 3.0 thumb drives. Sometimes I move hundreds of Kbytes of data between systems. The data transfer time might drop from imperceptible, to barely noticeable, but I will accept that in exchange for ease of spotting the drives.

Again?
@Stallion Multi Meh. Hook it up with a Road Runner one!
@Stallion as punishment lets nominate @sammydog01 as goat, he will be the rand paul of goat elections
@communist I second this nomination! @sammydog01 shall reign victorious!
@Stallion apparently meh used to watch this as children ...
Goddammit Meh...sell something not shitty for once!
@JOJOBASS
I have yet to open any of the ones I bought last time. Though I did give one away, but haven't heard any feedback about it.
Same $8 price when offered on 4/23/2015. https://meh.com/deals/looney-tunes-8gb-usb-2-0-mp3-player
I'd rather have a Sansa. Or a Leakfrog.
Oh god, now I'm going to be a footnote.
@zippyus speaker docks?
@communist Yay, helmet pig speaker docks! I already own 2, I've got room for more.
@zippyus My kingdom for a Sansa. Preferably a Fuze, non-Plus.
@ChunkyBitz Would be nice if they still sold the music cards seeing how i love my Sansa player
@ChunkyBitz Anyone know who sells the ccards? cant find any except for the latin card?
Yes! I picked up a couple more.
@sammydog01 oh god you're real
@bruinscbr It wouldn't be a very good citation if @sammydog01 was not real
@sammydog01 Could you please do us all a favor and buy all they have this time?
@sligett HAHA
@sligett Sorry, limit of 12. So if I buy 12 each offer, they should be gone in a few years.
@sammydog01 noted!
@sammydog01 Thank you! :-)
I'd rather not own any of these.
Do we have a late Dark Horse for June Goat for @sammydog01 ?
No Yosemite Sam, no sale....
no. just no.
whenever I stay up to see what the deal is, it's utter crap.
when I check it at random am time when I wake up to pee, it's mediocre.
if I wait till morning, it's decent to excellent & sold out.
I'm no good at this.
no good at all.
@ekw please wait until morning from now on.
@ekw Don't lose any sleep anymore. I am up when the deal is on and still up when you go pee. It's all really crap stuff almost all the time, yea pretty much all the time. @mick reverse psychology much ?
Ohoh... you are not going to bring back those G-damned Neoprene cases again, are you?
@discmaster I'd buy more in a heart beat. Even though I didn't touch my last 30
@discmaster I've actually used a few, and gave away a few more. I think I'm down to only about 22 or so. So, better than 8GB Looney Tunes? IDK.
@sammydog01: The voice of the people.
Where's Pepe le Pew??
Meh-gain?
Until there's a Marvin the Martian one, I'm out like the Road Runner.
@Otis_T_Slim The fact that there's not a Marvin the Martian one is making me very angry. Very angry indeed.
ok... #3,436,762 on the list of things not to masturbate to.
or with.
@alacrity wow I haven't even seen 3,436,762 different things, let alone classified them that way
@awk I take it you're not Catholic, then?
@alacrity CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Curse you, slacker Meh marketing. Curse you.

@PurplePawprints Preach!
@PurplePawprints Maybe true in general, but these would take a stamp or two for first-class mail. And free shipping for the month is pretty meaningless for us folks who just don't order two things a month here.

@PurplePawprints UMMMM ,AGREED !!!!!
@stinks
"I said when I haven't bought anything within the last month....." No, you didn't say that, @rufwork said that. Unless you're the same person using different names in the same discussion. And why would someone do that? What nefarious things are going through your mind?
@lisaviolet busted. I never could remember which email account I use to sign up for this place, and ended up with two.
See? You got subtlety, so I'm not completely off base. ;)
We haven't given away any of the ones we bought the first time yet. Every time I think we've got a birthday party to go to where we can hand one off, the party gets cancelled or one of my kids gets sick. So, no more for me tonight.
Let's hear @sammydog01's opinion on cheap FPV drones, $100 iPads, and decent toasters (I happen to need a new toaster).
@alacrity Nice crisp resolution on that gif.
Did y'all notice you can buy up to 12 of these?
@KDemo The limit last time was pretty high, too. I bought six then.
WTF ain't these cheaper by the dozen? I hope this pleases my great niece as much as it pleases me. And I'm in love with my order number: tearful-underwhelmed-lizard.
Even @lichme's app thought today's offering was overly meh and didn't bother sending a notification until just now.
@PurplePawprints i got that notification at 9:01pm.
@meow57 Well, I guess my phone was just being a punk then. The five minute warning came through on time, but I didn't get the new item notification until 12:17.
Meh: "Are they saying boo... Or boo-urns?"
Bout time there was another el cheapo item I could buy without thinking too hard about it or caring how good it was! I was starting to feel like I was wasting money on my VMP program
No Georgia Red. . . for that alone, meh.
@jrwofuga @barney Nor purple, sadly.
@sligett I love purple.
Back by popular demand? No Meh we demanded you remove this sort of crap from your buying catalog. Two mehs back to back. Pathedic.
I highly suspected buyer of looney tunes is blood related to buyer of http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-5684644-10848750?url=http://computers.woot.com/offers/iron-man-2-8gb-usb-2-0-flash-drive-23?utm_source=version2&utm_medium=json&utm_campaign=api.woot.com
@legaldreamteam I bought both! I gave ironman plus a tweety bird away in an outbound boc. I think neither was much appreciated.
Just glad it's not food related. I've been craving ice cream and potato chips all day. (Luckily I have neither).
thematic-lone-cottage
This is another thing no one uses and goes in the trash. Quickly. Cause it's crappy.
You get marvin the martian in and I'll buy all I can. :)
I am a big fan of old radio shows. I keep Sylvester loaded with Bogie and Bacall and keep him in my purse. Now if I have time to kill or want to take a walk in the park I can listen to Bold Venture. And no, they did not pay me to say that.
Im thinking this should have been a 2-fer tuesday item the discount is nothing special !!!
Got this for my 3 year old nephew. I know he will love it and his parents will hate it. Thank you meh for selling things I know a child will love and my brother will hate. Payback is a bitch.
I sure wish I could get the Tasmanian Devil or Foghorn Leghorn. I would gladly buy 12 of those.
unreal-puny-wire
Got two Tweetys to go with the three Sylvesters I got the last time. What the hell I'll do with all of these players, I haven't a clue. But I've also got a buttload of Sansas I bought at woot a bazillion years ago...
And a Zune! I have a Zune...
@lisaviolet You may have a problem.
@jcjr81
I do have a problem. But it's all good....
@lisaviolet Best media player ever!
http://www.woot.com/offers/zune-80gb-multimedia-player-and-home-audio-video-pack
@2many2no I got a 30GB one, I bought brown because it was cheaper, but they ran out, upgraded it to black and they threw in the kit. October 2007.
http://www.woot.com/offers/microsoft-zune-30gb-digital-media-player-brown
I'd get one, but they are dumb. I don't do dumb.
these must be the 2 worst selling ones otherwise we would see others :)

How is the speaker on this thing anyway?
