Moving to Australia, like I did a couple of years ago, means getting to know a whole new constellation of entertainment stars, politicians, star athletes, fictional characters, public events, stereotypes, jingles, and more. Here are five icons from a Bizarro cultural pantheon that every Australian knows intimately, but that I knew little to nothing about back in the States. - @DrWorm I was going to delve deeper into the whole ‘sausage sizzle’ event, but technically that picture was only showing one sausage at Bunning’s. But I’m happy to elaborate just for accuracy:

- @JasonToon @mechcozmo I really enjoy the trivia like this one. It forces me to do some thorough detective work and I get to learn interesting tidbits on subjects I knew nothing about. Also, I now want to watch The Castle.
