I’ve gotten these before and they are very much F tier quality. The batteries aren’t secured very well at the base and can / will come loose over time and rattle around eventually breaking the wire connected to it
I just got mine today. The whole unit feels secure and there is nothing about the bottom that feels like it will come loose, so you may have gotten a different kind.
However, my only complaints are that there was no charging cable included in mine, and the top and bottom of the unit is scratched up as if it was used. That said, it feels sturdy and it gets BRIGHT, so it’s perfect for hurricane season here in FL.
well, in contrast to other reviews I got one of these and it works fine. Very bright, battery seems fine, a few hours of useful light. Looks old timey from about fifteen feet away and like a dollar store toy closer. I haven’t used additional batteries so no opinion on those. The door does seem flimsy, I mean the whole thing feels flimsy… but it works fine.
Is it worth 24? Eh. I would pay 15 for the light and feel okay, no matter how it looked… so if the ‘ole lantern’ look is worth an extra ten bucks extra to you, it’s probably cheaper than other such items you’ll find that look like it.

@tlunde 41% one-star. Ooof. There are numerous things about these that have been pointed out in the past.
