@therealjrn BF & I watched that once, in it’s original language with no subtitles. We could figure it out sort of, and pretty much said “WTF???” Repeatedly… We’ve said we were going to watch again with subtitles, but never have. Maybe this is the year.

@Fuzzalini You should! I think it is on Netflix AND on Amazon Prime video!
@Fuzzalini It’s on Hulu too. I’ve never tried it without subtitles, pretty sure they are available on the streams.
Scrooged
The Santa Clause
Elf
A Christmas Story
Die Hard
We watch the LOTR trilogy during the course of the holidays each year. You know, there are elves, and Gandalf gets a white beard in The Two Towers …
I suppose it’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s one of the only movies I watch consistently. Whether it’s around Halloween or Christmas.
A Christmas Story, IAWL, Home Alone, and Elf.
Plus Die Hard. Because it IS a Christmas movie, dammit.
I usually watch “South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut” while wrapping presents. It’s wintry, if not actually christmassy.
But this year I listened to Vaughn Williams, Sibelius and Ravel while doin my wrappin. The jury’s still out on this perplexing breach of custom.
pS, @tnhillbillygal, you are doin a fine job as a goat, my hat is off to you
A christmas story, home alone, muppets Christmas Carol.
Are my top three!
