3This gave me the smiles. I've got Kansas advancing to the Final Four, but I'll root for Austin Peay as long as I can. Hell, I'll root for them even if they ruin my bracket--maybe especially then. Why would I want Kansas to win?

(Side note, which I learned from the story linked above: Austin Peay signed the Butler Act, which banned the teaching of evolution and brought us the Scopes Monkey Trial. Otherwise he seems to have been a decent governor.)

Re Scopes: At least there is a reason to remember him.
Fun facts re: the "Let's Go Peay" chant. It started in the 1970's when playground legend Fly Williams starred with the Governors. The full chant was "The Fly is open, let's go Peay".
Legend has it that before his freshman year, Williams, erroneously assuming that Austin Peay was in Austin, TX, took a flight New York to Austin to visit the campus.
