Let Him Go (movie discussion)
2My Regal and AMC theaters are still closed but a local chain is open only on weekends and for only a few showings of each movie. They are currently sitting A Christmas Story and Lampoons Christmas.
Went and saw Let Him Go with Kevin Costner and Diane Lane.
I was crying, but I still enjoyed it.

Neither A Christmas Story nor National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation click with me. Everyone else seems to love them, but I just don’t find them that funny.
Except for the scene in A Christmas Story where he yells “fuuuuuudge!”
Is Kevin Costner any good in it? I feel like he started off pretty good when he was young, got successful and just kind of sucked as an actor during his peak fame, but has been pretty good the last decade or so. I really liked him in Mr. Brooks, though I seem to be the only one.
@Limewater yeah, I think he did a fine job.
I don’t think it’s going to win any awards or anything, but it was nice to see a movie on a big screen again.
It also had one of the younger native American boys from twilight in it. Good to see him in something else.
@RiotDemon
Ha! Boo Boo Stewart!
He was also in a series of Disney channel movies my daughter really likes.
@Limewater haha, I just got finished looking him up. I had no idea he was in a bunch of other stuff since then.
What a name though, Booboo.
I haven’t seen it but I did go to see Elf this morning. This was at the theater built in 1928 and they played the original Wurlitzer organ. And they made snow from the balcony.
I have tickets to see A Christmas Story. I’m one of the poeple who love it.
@sammydog01 ah, I’m so jealous!!! My friend loaned me Elf since I don’t remember watching it. I might watch it later today.
I don’t mind a Christmas Story. My mom always had us put it on Christmas morning while we opened presents. I haven’t sat down and watched it beginning to end in many years because of this.
I actually went to A Christmas Story escape room recently. It was a lot of fun with only a few hiccups.
I’m one of the people who love Christmas Vacation and hate Kevin Costner. But when I’m bored, I might watch it when it comes out on netflix or is able to be borrowed from the internet.
