So the goat has had a bit of a monumental shit storm fall in her bleating little face. I was a bit cranky already last night when I saw this, because we’re having issues getting the scratch we need to finish the much needed garage remodel so my teenager can move out there like I promised. The husband went and secured funds by putting his truck up, which didn’t sit well with me at all. But at least we had just enough.
And then I went out back last night and heard a geyser going off. Turns out the plumbing in said garage went boom. It’s trashed. And we’re fucked a bit. So, please don’t hit me with a bunch of stuff, I’m running on now sleep and a lot of stress.
Oh, and today was supposed to start my honeymoon. Which is now being spent doing this.

@narfcake Funny thing, we had a contractor come out a few days ago and he was going on about the copper pipes, but said PVC was fine. The previous owners had a leak, supposedly fixed it, but never finished the remodel. This was where the little sink PVC came up the wall and had a joint. Looks like they had a shitty people bracket holding it and no glue and the bracket made the turn not fit properly. We just went from a long stretch of temps in the 20s to nearly double that so I’m thinking somewhere in all that, the expanding and contracting just… Went boom.

@CaptAmehrican Kind of like the Oscars but for T-shirts. Different categories, best-of type of thing. There is a community choice award, which is usually what that derby is reserved for – every shirt of 2017 gets put up for voting, and the winner, well, wins. That one is overwhelming.
FWIW I’ve never won, though I did get a staff favorite nod.

@mfladd It’s pretty easy to replace the screen on most chromebooks. My wife’s was $30 and 15 minutes.
@rtjhnstn I looked into it yesterday. And most screens are around $30, except the Toshiba Chromebook 2 ones. They are between 45 and 55 bucks. But it is the option I will probably go with since I also just put the money in it for a new battery. Plus, I just forked out the cash for a new xbox, so would rather not buy a new yet. Thanks, for the suggestion, You Tube makes it look easy.
