Kirby Delauter Kirby Delauter Kirby Delauter
8This is exactly the sort of thing I love - perfectly fighting back against a jerk politician who is being a bully while adding in just the right amount of unnecessary childishness.
Quick Summary of what happened here: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2015/01/06/375436143/kirby-delauter-who-didnt-want-his-name-in-a-news-story-is-now-a-story
With the article I'm loving here:

TL:DR Version: Politician tells reporter she cannot use his name without his permission in any news stories or he will sue her. Reporters newspaper responds with an article that uses his name far more than necessary including using the first letter of every paragraph to spell out his name and pokes fun at various ways to use his name.

On a random note - how the hell do you do URL masking again? Where I could shorten those links up to say something like "NPR Summary" etc?
@Bingo [this is where your text goes](this is where the URL goes) Kirby Delauter
Dumbass politician.
Maybe he's just embarrassed that his first name is Kirby.
@pitamuffin I wonder if he has to pay Nintendo to have that name.
@pitamuffin that name really sucks. http://www.kirby.com
Kirby's reverse psychology worked perfectly. Now everyone knows his name and he didn't have to spend a dime on marketing.
Oh good, my town made the news. Blech!
Y U say his name three times?
@nadroj Kirby Delauter!
Must be something about the name. I used to work for a Kirby. Such a doofus.
What happens if I say Retualed Ybrik? Does he get sent back to his own dimension?
