Just wanted to say goodbye and thank you

My condition has seriously deteriorated this morning and my doctor says if my condition worsens this afternoon, he may suggest euthanasia as the humane option. I wanted to thank everyone for welcoming me into your community and making me your first non human goat. I didn’t want to leave without saying goodbye.

I hope you make a miraculous recovery, but if not, then i hope you make lots of good friends at the rainbow bridge & they have all your favorite things there. At least he passed away under the control of a doctor in the hospital who managed his pain and was fed through a tube while he was hospitalized. He had the best care money could buy so he didn’t suffer at all.

- @Felton10 I’m so sorry he didn’t make it, he was a beautiful boy with such a big personality, but you’re right, I’ve found the same comfort over the years in being able to make that decision for the beloved critters in my life. You were a great dad to him & gave him the best life a bird could have. He was such a huge presence in your life that these next days will be tough, so I’m sending you a big hug & sincerest condolences. Take care of yourself.

I’m SO sorry for both you and Mrs Felton, such sad news. I’m sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks feeling like I lost a good friend. Walterbird always brought sunshine and happy times to the threads, he definitely left a few feathers on my heart!
