Just a reminder about broken stuff

My fellow mehicans, you have probably thought this through; but based on a recent experience, I thought it worthwhile to remind you of a fact or two regarding damaged/defective merchandise you receive:

  1. If something is wrong with a product you receive, there is every chance in the world meh.com will not have stock on hand to replace it for you, even if it is only a week after the sale.

  2. If they do not, you will need to go to the manufacturer for warranty service. This could involve a) you eating the additional shipping charges and b) waiting while the manufacturer diagnoses and possibly repairs or replaces the product (both of which apply to the product I purchased).
