@simplersimon I watched the “stares” compilation from “Twilight” on youtube. I feel like I have a deep enough understanding of that franchise to say awful, awful things about it. But not here.
@jml326 OH WOW. This is so bad. I have to watch this while drunk. Gonna be my first “Star Wars” movie and I am gonna build my impression of the series on that.
@jml326 I actually remember watching this on TV when it came out. Even as a kid I thought it was painful and embarrassing - my brothers and I just stared at the TV in disbelief. And that was back when Donny & Marie and The Love Boat were considered high entertainment.
His best chiller, thriller is Presumed Innocent. I got it when it was released on vhs. You can watch it over and over again and find things that you did’nt see before.
Both of those characters are ruined by their fourth movies.
Also, if you want something a little different from him, try Sabrina. A remake of a Bogart film that was an equally odd role for him. And both versions are surprisingly good.
@simplersimon I love both those movies! I tend not to like remakes at all, but I agree with you - Harrison Ford’s version was very good. No Audrey Hepburn though, so I do favor the original. No William Holden either, but then again he wasn’t floating face-down in a pool in that one (best opening scene ever!).
@simplersimon That remake of “Sabrina” is one of those movies I’ll always log a little time with if I run across it on TV. I miss Greg Kinnear, too. @Kathyl He was just practicing his Swim Quals before jetting off to fight the Koreans, and then he had that Picnic to attend.
Man, that dance scene with Kim Novak simply sizzles. Attraction
@LaVikinga phew, you had me worried. “I miss Greg Kinnear” had me thinking I missed him dying. I may lot love everything he does, but when he gets a good role, he can really knock’em outta the park.
Are you kidding me??? What about “Blade Runner” and “The Fugitive”???
@serpent Oooh, I forgot about “Blade Runner”. One of my top favorite movies.
@heartny I love that movie as well. Mr. Ford shines there. So does Rutger Hauer, whom I deeply admire.
@serpent I came here to advocate for Rick Deckard. Almost better than Rutger Hauer in that movie - almost.
@thismyusername I came here to mention this role!
Not to mention “The Expendables III”, which is much better, than both “Star Wars” (which I haven’t seen) and “Indiana Jones” (which is okay at best).
@serpent Ooh, can I get in on this judging of movies I haven’t actually bothered to watch?
Home Alone is John Hughes’s worst movie.
@jqubed Good job! I do like “Home Alone” (and its sequel) though. Silly kinda fun, awesome performance by Joe Pesci.
@jqubed meh, I got burned out on that game after the Twilight movies.

His birthday too? It’s just a birthday kind of day.
But if I have to share with someone, he’ll do!
@KDemo Happy Birthday!
@thismyusername - Thanks! You really take the cake.
@KDemo Team Pie.
@LaVikinga - As long as you can stick a candle in it, it works for me!

@jml326 I haven’t seen it, but I have to like your post for no reason.
@serpent it really is painful to watch.

@jml326 and people were surprised that the prequels sucked.

@kathyl Finally something that was worse than The Brady Bunch Variety Hour.

What about his family? His wife?
@serpent James Marshall is easily the best fictional president ever.
WTF is wrong with selling knives?

Edit: oh, weird, posting a link to a deal posts its image from the deal’s thread.

All of them.

@kathyl I still haven’t seen the original, and I love Audrey Hepburn! Julia Ormond was no slouch in the remake, though!
I loved him in Regarding Henry… he was so sweet and you just wanna hug him
John Book, from Witness.
Decker!!
Get off my plane!
I couldn’t choose! Indy and Han were both my favorites when I was a kid.
Blade Runner, Witness, Presumed Innocent, and The Fugitive were all much better roles.
Even Clear and Present Danger
I need ya, Deck. This is a bad one, the worst yet. I need the old blade runner, I need your magic.
Yeh - Rick Deckard
