Even a 10,000 mAh battery would give 2.8 full charges.
@terrancecohen the one I got a while back tested right around 20,000 mah. That’s accounting for conversion loss. At least they only inflated the capacity by a little (unlike the countless "50,000 mah battery packs on Amazon).
@terrancecohen Something’s fishy alright. Once a product starts combining two unrelated tools into one thing, you know it’s going to break. A lanyard made out of a charging cable? The cable is going to wear out and your charger, and your iPhone attached to it, are going to plunge into the abyss. It’s like the charging cup – what’s going to fail first? Either your ice is going to melt faster than if you’d just dumped the ice onto a hot sidewalk, or the charger will overheat and, unbeknownst to you, will boil your drink and blister your entire mouth.
@DonBirren@terrancecohen I bought this last year and I just wanna say its a great purchase, I use it daily… BUT I seriously had no idea after a year of use that the lanyard was a charge cord. It’s very well disguised! I wish I had known sooner because there are times i’m hunting for a lightning cord to use!
I have one from last time. Works pretty well, it’s the only thing that will charge my broken iPad. If you don’t have a broken iPad I’m not sure you’ll think it’s as useful.
Mine only had around 20,000 mah capacity (that’s accounting for conversion losses) and the 65W pd drops down to 30 once this thing gets around 25% SOC. Then it drops to QC 3.0 when it gets to about 10%.
@ohhwell - Hahaha. Well, I do need to evwntually learn, because I’m trying to understand batteries, solar, and everything in between so I don’t end up with more power bank that have (more or less) useless solar charging attached to them.
@TrickyKitty There are quite a few excellent YouTube videos out there that go over all the basics like voltage, amperage and wattage; capacity, parallel vs serial etc. How to calculate how much battery capacity you need…
The bluetti Facebook group has people that are very helpful if you at least know how Mach wattage you need and for how long.
I got 3 of them previously, haven’t looked at their conversion loss but I really like them. one of them the ratcheting mechanism broke it it keeps trying to pull the cable in, otherwise they have been great.
I have been using them with a pinecil soldering iron and it works great. only complaint is no way to charge micro usb things without an extra cable.
I wish the C-lighting was a C-micro or C-micro/lighting (there are some weird cables with a nonstandard plug that actually is both a lightning and micro usb don’t know if it has a real name)
