We’re going to be taking the kids out to Trick or Treat. If it doesn’t rain, I’m planning on throwing an old twin mattress in the back of my truck and driving it around for the kids.
I’m not dressing up for for work, to the disappointment of some there. Though I’ve only really dressed up two times in 18 years. It’s just the two times were memorable. One year I wore one of my wife’s old dresses (I was the creepiest person there) and the next I was the Big Bad Wolf and the wife was Little Red Riding Hood. That was fun. Spent the night going up to kids asking where Red was. Didn’t quite know what to do when I found a few child Reds out there…
I’ll be dressing up at my friend’s house to hand out candy. Hopefully we will have trick or treaters. It gets less and less each year because of all the cities doing trunk or treat on Halloween.
Went to a Fall festival this weekend dressed up and took some photos with people, so that was cool.
We never get trick-or-treaters, so I’m deciding whether to stay home and watch Halloween-themed tv reruns or go see Kiss Me Kate at a local library. Or see if stores have started their Halloween clearance yet. It’s weird because I’m off work, and I’m never off on Halloween, but I have absolutely nothing to do, and haven’t found my copy of Heigh-Ho For Halloween for spooky hi-jinx.
@RiotDemon I went with option 2 which I see didn’t get any votes. I would have gone by votes but no one had voted by the time I got ready to leave. I had actually been looking for a different shirt but couldn’t find it so had narrowed the choices to the 4 posted.
I discovered I don’t like Flix Brewhouse’s coleslaw. The fish and chips were okay though. My brother had a salad. We both drank… lemonades.
@narfcake What is the name and artist of shirt option #1? I tried finding it in the shirt catalog and in my purchase history but never found it in either place. I’m guessing it was a random.
It was a C-contract design, hence the reason why it’s not in the catalog. Also I don’t have that one since it was only available in the neckstretch Anvil.
@narfcake I’d guessed it wasn’t in the catalog due to the contract and knew I recognized the style of the artist but couldn’t for the life of me remember who it was. In searching my order history, I discovered it’s been a year this month since I last bought anything from woot and August 2017 since I bought any shirts (they were for my niece and nephew).
Eta: now that I have the name I was able to find it in my history. March 19, 2012.

Drink beer and watch some movies.

Carve a pumpkin, clean the cobwebs on the front porch and put out fake ones, watch a scary movie and hand out candy.

I caught a spiritomb today!

(That’s a Pokemon.)
@sammydog01 Better a Spiritomb than a Skitty.
@fait Poor little Skitty.
@sammydog01 Thank you, I was going to ask.
I plan to give out candy while doing random yard work in the front yard.
(while wearing an inflatable dinosaur costume)
@fait Pictures or it didn’t happen, Better yet, do a clipisode!
Nothing, I guess. I have candy to hand out, but nobody will come. It will be a cold, lonely night.
@Barney I would stop by but I have to protect my trees from toilet paper after handing out light-up spinners that don’t light up.
I’m going to hand out fidget spinners to some very disappointed children.
Go to see First Man with my brother. Have to decide whether to wear a space-themed shirt or a Halloween-ish shirt.
@msklzannie Option 1
@msklzannie Option 2
@msklzannie Option 3
@msklzannie Option 4
@msklzannie what was the final choice?

Just got back in from trick-or-treating with the family. We did the group costume thing.
Making taco soup and watching American horror story! Loving this season and my soup came out great!
