Is this how the personalized ads are going to appear?

Is the ad for Herb Mallette books a sponsored ad? Grabbed the third book in the series today because of it, even though I am only about half way through the first one. Pretty cool so far though. Got the first couple from a woot post by @snapster

- Yeah, this direct system is "beta" as declared by Google, and doesn't seem to be serving 100% of the time. Looking into it still.

I don't ads see any because I installed Adblock Plus. It's working exactly as I want it.

i forgot i had ad block installed (due to my love of torrents and not wanting my kids to see naked woman ads when they ask for a show) might turn it off to see said ads
edit: mine were nothing special after a few refreshes so back on goes the blocker
