I live in the Chicago metro area and in the winter here it can get really cold so when it hits 20° or above it’s sweatshirt weather…sometimes even shorts weather.
It is warm enough for shorts today but the Houston area is finicky and can have some cold snaps through about mid-March. I am not giving up on my sweatshirts just yet.
Also, it is a little chilly in my house much of the day so I am wearing one now even though I don’t need it outside.
We just had almost a month of bitterly cold weather. It’s supposed to get up into the 40s and even 50s next week. This seems to happen every year: we get a spell of warm weather mid-February, I get my hopes up that winter is almost over, then it gets cold again and sometimes we even get a big snowstorm. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 61 times, shame on me. But I’m not falling for it this year! No, February, you’re not going to break me with your bait and switch!
Almost never.
@yakkoTDI this. Except for those people who are cold all the time even when it’s 110° outside
@Cerridwyn @yakkoTDI That’s the truth!
@yakkoTDI
You are in Florida I think?
When I have visited Fl in the winter (Sarasota area, 1900’s),
if the weather got down to the 60’s I would see northern ex-pats wearing sweaters and jackets.
Not because they were needed.
More because of nostalgia.
They missed the seasons just a little.

Yes, and no. We’ve had a full gamut of different weather here in Tulsa. Freezing snow cold and today was in the 60s I think.
I just dont care for pullovers. God invented the zipper for all His children to enjoy.
Yeah…If the sweatshirt is under a winter coat.
Sweatshirt in the early morning, T-shirt by mid-afternoon.

Hard for me to say, because I am comfortable in shorts and a tank top when it’s snowing…
I keep changing my clothes throughout the day, because it’s cold in the morning but warm by midday, and that lasts until sundown. So … yes & no.

In the morning.
Yesterday started at 38° and peaked at 68°.

Please don’t do it to me again.
