iPad Help?

Well, here I am, hat in hand, looking for help from the collective experience of the meh faithful. I will be detailed below, but the tldr is my daughter’s iPad lost touch capability and was never backed up. Looking for any possible way to recover any files, mostly pics and videos. I’ve already taken steps and am probably out of luck, but figured someone here may know something.

In the middle of a game, the screen stopped responding. Tried a hard reset, didn’t work. Research told me the screen could be borked or possibly an update was corrupted. Plugged it in to the PC and updated the iPad. Nothing. Took it to ubreakifix today and they tried replacing the screen. That didn’t work either obviously. He tried a couple different screens. My last option was a factory restore which was completed successfully but still did not recover screen function. I knew going into the restore the files would be erased, but I’d read there were some apps that could potentially recover deleted files after a factory restore and hoped I could get to that point, but of course I cannot finish the setup. The computer recognizes the iPad and explorer can see the iPad’s hard drive. I know I’m basically out of luck at this point but was wondering if there is any recovery program that could possibly scan the iPad drive for deleted files. I await your responses and ridicule.
