@cengland0 I laughed so hard I ordered a camera. Love you, meh. At least until I get that Fuko... If the wife kicks me out I'm coming to live in your warehouse.
@DaveInSoCal You have to read the write-up to understand it but I'll summarize it for you. Basically people ordered lanterns on a previous sale and were sent cameras instead by mistake. The customers were asked to either buy the camera or send them back and meh's expense. So now you can order either the camera or the light but do you really know what you'll receive?!?!?!
@DaveInSoCal No, you have to pick one of the two. Meh is just having a laugh at their previous mistake by offering the two things they confused in a previous shipment.
As someone who was involved in this, I still never got the email you said i would get. Im also still waiting on a support email for only getting one of the two Netgear routers i bought.....
@Kidsandliz i guess it depends on your expectations. in the middle of the night, power out, the lamp was very bright and lit up apartment as wanted. we also use them on our balcony
@vampje I LOVE mine. I just used it under the sink when fixing a faucet (next to my leakfrog). It was plenty bright enough for what I needed. And at $4, I'm almost going to buy more. But I want to stay married too. ugh! the tough decisions.
Oooh, thanks for this sale. It made me finally remember to pay for the two cameras you sent me since I think my husband has decided we're going to keep them for sure.
The one thing I learned when I fell on the sword and bought the camera a few weeks ago was, it's a pain in the ass to try to view it from your smart phone. Also things could work easier if you bought the "hub" device from the manufacturer. Which means more connected shit.
@somf69 The cameras aren't bad when used with a proper recording server, I bought them 2 for tuesday to add to my Blue Iris setup and they work great with that.
@telepheedian I tried adding the camera to my ZoneMinder system, but I couldn't figure out how To get a URL for a simple video feed that ZoneMinder can monitor. The camera has its own login system. Maybe I need to mess with it some more -- maybe something involving sending the credentials as part of the URL.
Ios insteon apps have bad reviews but Foscam app search shows dozens of both free and paid. Heluva search project for the right one for your needs. I agree it would be great if someone had a comparison of all these apps.
@ChunkyBitz if you get the one i sent back, it should still be boxed nice as i never opened it. It will probably have a bunch of different shipping labels though. Send me something nice if you find my address!
No. No! I ALREADY sent you the camera back. I do NOT want the camera! And I already have two of the lanterns (which work quite nicely)... What is this? Am I stuck in a Twilight Zone episode? Is this Groundhog Day?! No more camera lanterns!
I already have both now, but I can definitely endorse the lamps as Power Outage Approved. I haven't figured out my use for the camera yet but I'll come up with something.
The girlfriend loves camping and we were looking for some good lanterns... also it's getting to storm season. These should do well! (The Lights... not the infrared ip camera. I don't know how I could qualify that purchase without feeling like I could do creepy things with it).
@pathologic buy a real lantern. These are good to give to children to destroy. I highly recommend "The Siege" By streamlight. Lifetime warranty, waterproof, floats, drop proof, etc.
Light Output 21 Lumens which is 0.35 watts (taking into account they are LED). Might need a magnifying glass to find the light. Night lights are typically 4 watts or 240 lumens (again taking into account they are LED). You'd need 11.43 of these things to make one night light. MEH!!
@Kidsandliz actually they are nice and bright. You might have to angle them a little bit to shine directly on something but they have a little built in hook for hanging and they float! (We all float down here...)
@Kidsandliz i think your maths are confused. wattage is based on ohms law but light output isnt. A 13 watt fluorescent bulbs has the same light output as a 40 watt incandescent.
@Kidsandliz Watts are irrelevant, as are LED/CF/incandescent/halogen/whatever. Lumens are lumens, a measure of light output. A typical nightlight is around 15 lumens. 240 lumens is the equivalent of a 60-watt incandescent bulb. If your nightlights are 240 lumens, you must be very afraid of the dark.
@givemeyoursoul Yes he's off a bit on the 40-watt bulb lumen output. However, an incandescent nightlight is usually below 20 lumens, so this is brighter than a nightlight. And frankly, incandescent nightlights are too bright in the dark, which is why people usually use a diffuser in front of them.
I have an older Foscam camera, and mistakingly (then paid for) the Insteon camera here. It actually works quite well, and seems more responsive than my older, same resolution Foscam. If you want to screw around with a cheap but decent quality IP cam, do it!
Also the lanterns are fairly dim. They should be good for power outages though since they last so long, and some light helps over no light (as the Romans always said)
@versabox You can always go back to the 0ringinal one-deal-per-day site that now has 11 items per day PLUS probably another hundred from their mothership...
@TBoneZeOriginal As someone who's only owned Foscams (particularly that model from last week), what about this makes it "NOT as good"? Genuinely curious as I'm ready to pull the trigger here.
Spent $8 I wonder if 1 camera will show up. Btw the lanterns are great for checking on my son. He gets upset when the hall light goes on but the lanterns are just bright enough that he doesn't get disturbed from them even if I shine them right on him. Awesome purchase.
PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY TEST DRIVE ONE OF THESE THINGS: (the camera, not the lamp)

My family just bought a house and we are planning on remodeling it, this is where the camera came useful.
Here is the address of said camera http://[removed by request below] UserName: [removed by request below] Pass: [removed by request below]
please use responsibly, just test it, dont try to hack it please, as I am not going to be able to physically go there for another two weeks... I am doing this to help fellow mehrs.... who want to try it.
if you have any questions please let me know. If you have any APP suggestions for using this camera, please also let me know, the mobile interface of the camera REALLY sucks.
@jareza I use TinyCam Pro on Android and it works very well (I think you need to set up as a Foscam model). But the mobile web version, as you mentioned is completely serviceable on Android IMO.
@jareza I thank you for the review, and especially the new ip camera server. Are they free? My old free service is for pay now. I'll have to try out my picky-snooty-wire on that. Cool, it's in Australia: http://map.what3words.com/picky-snooty-wire
@dave@dave Hi Dave, It seems that my little insteon camera either crashed or was brutally hacked... either way, could you please help me editing my post so that I can remove the log in information? Lets hope that the connection resumes tomorrow, my guess is that someone left their web browser open with the camera feed and now Im not able to log back in,
@jareza looked for Tinycam on iOS, guess only for android. Reviews not too good for Foscam or insteon but plenty of third party. Online manual says must be set up with one app, seen with another. Any iOS users have some favorites?
I forgot to mention that the camera allows just one connection at a time, so be patient, and if you are using it, please log off so others can play with it
I still have this camera sitting unopened by my door, don't think I ever received a return label. Can I just write return to sender on it still and drop it at the PO?? Or maybe I'll just buy it to save me the trip....
@alexpope I've decided that the delay in shipping labels is a strategy to make the weak-willed among us buy the thing. I'm about 96% ready to make the purchase.
Wow. Last week I blew 60 bucks on a non-night vision version on Amazon. You bastards would wait until today to sell this awesome camera/lantern. Why must you toy with my heart-strings?!
I was sad I missed the cam last time, took to long to decide and it sold out. But, would have been sadder if I'd ordered cam and gotten a lamp. Don't get me wrong, I♥Lamp, but now that I got another chance - I'm not missing the light-cam train again, ordered both. Am happy. Yaay Meh!
Return it hell, I paid for it instead. Gave it to a friend expecting a baby.. I am, However still waiting to hear back about my Radar Detector that was supposedly delivered, but I never got it. Fedex to USPS
@Mandamm Yeah, I had a bad handoff of a similarly routed package, purchased from the big "W." Finally got to me a month and a half down the road and it was the wrong thing. Had to complain.
@StrangerDanger Huh? Virtually everything we've received from Meh has been shipped Smartpost which starts with FedEx, then goes to USPS, ending up sitting on our porch just like with FedEx or UPS direct. The mailbox has nothing to do with it unless the item just happens to fit.
I placed two separate orders, then sent two separate emails to service spaced hours apart, each asking that the order be swapped to the other product, but I mixed up the order numbers in each email.
I clicked Meh, then I purchased an unnecessary lantern. I hope they throw in a JBL Dock, because I definitely do not need it. Hopefully it doesn't end up in my never-used meh pile.
Also, I'm kind of wishing I'd put some kind of identifying mark on the cameras I sent back, so whoever gets them next would know their travel history. Like a chain letter. But, you know, with cameras.
Just got off the phone with my buddy who bought two of these "cameras." He is a computer/electronic "geek" who really knows his stuff. He told me that after multiple times, he could not connect to the internet and could not easily set this up. He has four in his closet if anyone wants one for an anchor. Not kidding.... waste of money if something doesn't work. Amazon reviews are mixed, with the "terrible" ratings mirroring what my geek buddy told me. Too bad... thought I could save some money here, but 100% total pass not this one.
@mcemanuel I had no problem getting these set up. Wondering if your "geek" was too good to read the directions (i.e. hardwire first, config wifi in web UI, upgrade firmware, profit)
These seem like good gifts--the cameras (hopefully). I have some people with new kids and setting up an IP camera seems like a great way to give them some peace of mind.
I ordered 3 cameras for $90, got a pre-auth charge for $90 from Stripe.
Less than 12 hrs later, got another pre-auth charge from Stripe for $224.05 and $1.00. Few Hrs later, a pre-auth charge for $750 on same card and a call from NordStorm to confirm a $750 gift card order I didn't place. Can it be related that the $224.05 pre-auth was from meh, or another business using Stripe? or could Meh have compromised my Amex?
@tinkleondabeach - While I highly doubt it was meh that compromised your card, I would absolutely contact meh.com/support and have them look into it. I would also have your card/bank look at those charges and see exactly where they originated from. While you're at it... pull your credit report and make sure this is the only issue that's come up. It's better to be diligent than to spend months cleaning up a mess after the fact!
@Thumperchick Thanks :) Already called the bank+nordstorm to cancel + send new card. Looks like it's just this mornings transactions on recent reports that are seem suspicious. Anyone else get a 224.05 preauth for this order? Maybe that's normal
@tinkleondabeach I bunch of people at my office had there card info used all over the place. Eventually it was detemined to be skimmer devices at 3 gas stations. It's a very smalll town so you wouldn't think that it would happen but I guess they are popping up everywhere.
I dun goofed. I only ordered 1 camera, I shouldve got two. just setup my camera. its so legit. my only ragrat is I shouldve got more to stalk my cat in the different rooms of my house.
I ordered a lantern, and got a lantern. Impressed! Also, this little guy is far brighter than I would have thought given the ratings and size. Kinda wish I got two of them.
Is there really going to be a "Return to Shipper" label to send back the camera(s) from the first mistake? Mine are still here, just waiting to be sent back. I really don't want or need them. If I send them back at my expense, can I get one free month of VMP membership? I know some folks have sent it back without getting a label; I've just gotten lazy about it. I will probably send them (I got two) back soon anyway, whether I get reimbursed or not.
@pjdemmitt they don't pay much attention here on the forum for these. I'm still in limbo on the mini fridge deal from months ago. If they won't budge on a vmp deal, I'll pay for two months and postage. Daughter had some scares at her college apt and wanted cam that works with laptop. I use mine for front door as disabled and can see and tell delivery to give me time to roll out to the door. Daughter liked my set up. Still looking for better iOS app for motion monitoring. Better than giving them back
@pjdemmitt Sorry this was missed somehow, if you still want a return label we can get you one. We did send labels out to everyone's emails multiple times so it's possible it's stuck in your spam folder.

GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Pavlov I laughed out loud on this one.
@cengland0 I laughed so hard I ordered a camera. Love you, meh. At least until I get that Fuko... If the wife kicks me out I'm coming to live in your warehouse.
@Pavlov I got sent this one by mistake when I was waiting on myEveryReady 2FERS... $20.. LOL why so much now???
@IBMgrunt same here. Luv it when they made a mistake like that. Will it ever happened again? I will cross my finger since it Meh. LOL!
too funny
You got the lights, you got the camera. Now give me some action.
HAHAHA -as someone involved with this fiasco.
I see what you did here.
I really enjoy how much pleasure you get out of making fun of yourselves, fan-fucking-tastic.
@studerc I really like how quick they are on the turn around. The wound is still fresh and they're already ready poking at it.
One crappy item per day, Meh...didn't you read the description? What is this, Woot?!?!
@mbills2223 They can't tell the items apart. ;-)
@primrosewater Ohhhh Maybe a mystery grab bag? Maybe you'll get a lantern, maybe a IP cam? Wonder who's going to get my IP cam....
@BabyBear worn, disgusting tshirts also seem to be a possibility now. How can I ever trust meh again...
@mbills2223 "MEH" "WOOT" .... It is hard to tell in near dark environment!
Holy fuck! Am I totally misunderstanding or did the 1 deal per day just die a painful death?
@DaveInSoCal two for Wednesday... ?
@DaveInSoCal welcome to woot 2.0
@cengland0 oooooh. So it's really one thing disguised as two things?
@DaveInSoCal No, you have to pick one of the two. Meh is just having a laugh at their previous mistake by offering the two things they confused in a previous shipment.
@DaveInSoCal
@JonT @cengland0 i get it, guys. I tried to be upset but just can't maintain my indignation. The meh crew is just way too awesome.
@cengland0 I know. I got it.
I love it!!
As someone who was involved in this, I still never got the email you said i would get. Im also still waiting on a support email for only getting one of the two Netgear routers i bought.....
@Nemesis158 bummer - escalated.
love it!
Can't wait to not own this.
i quite like my lanterns from the last time. they are quite bright.
@vampje says on the packaging 21 lumens. That is about 1/3 of a watt. You sure they are exactly the same ones?
@Kidsandliz i guess it depends on your expectations. in the middle of the night, power out, the lamp was very bright and lit up apartment as wanted. we also use them on our balcony
@vampje I LOVE mine. I just used it under the sink when fixing a faucet (next to my leakfrog). It was plenty bright enough for what I needed. And at $4, I'm almost going to buy more. But I want to stay married too. ugh! the tough decisions.
@v Go with the light, it'll require less batteries in the long run.
fucking fantastic way to get away with mistake. nice one.
Two items, same day...... The wootification has begun.
@givemeyoursoul… the write-up should be, ah, illuminating to you.
@givemeyoursoul no, no, no, you're just not getting it.
@pitamuffin Oh, I read the write up. I'm familiar with the situation. However......My point still stands.
@givemeyoursoul not really.
Oooh, thanks for this sale. It made me finally remember to pay for the two cameras you sent me since I think my husband has decided we're going to keep them for sure.
Oh please don't make this a regular thing.
@mistamoose Oh goodness we hope we don't have to.
So... A $30 flashlight or a $4 camera... hmmm. maybe, just maybe.
Got them both already so MEH.
But v clever idea.
@camille me too
The one thing I learned when I fell on the sword and bought the camera a few weeks ago was, it's a pain in the ass to try to view it from your smart phone. Also things could work easier if you bought the "hub" device from the manufacturer. Which means more connected shit.
@somf69 there were some better apps mentioned in the other thread that may be helpful.
@somf69 The cameras aren't bad when used with a proper recording server, I bought them 2 for tuesday to add to my Blue Iris setup and they work great with that.
@djslack I would like to know which apps are you referring to, because I went back to the original thread and found nothing.
@jareza One was https://meh.com/forum/topics/2-for-tuesday-eveready-compact-led-area-lights#5500c89d80292c04054ab148
Looking for more, but doing it from my phone on lunch
@djslack Looking for iOS app suggestion here. Anyone tried this with IP Cam Viewer?
@jareza also mentioned were iCam, ip cam viewer, Tinycam, and the Foscam apps. Ispy was brought up but i think it is a desktop application.
Ios insteon apps have bad reviews but Foscam app search shows dozens of both free and paid. Heluva search project for the right one for your needs. I agree it would be great if someone had a comparison of all these apps.
Shouldn't the cameras be cheaper since they're all open box? Well, at the minimum, the outer Meh box was opened. That should count.
@ChunkyBitz if you get the one i sent back, it should still be boxed nice as i never opened it. It will probably have a bunch of different shipping labels though. Send me something nice if you find my address!
I actually really like the lights and the camera I was "forced" to buy seems cool despite still being in the box. :)
@stardate820926 I flipped mine on eBay for about $50 ($40 after shipping and fees)
No. No! I ALREADY sent you the camera back. I do NOT want the camera! And I already have two of the lanterns (which work quite nicely)... What is this? Am I stuck in a Twilight Zone episode? Is this Groundhog Day?! No more camera lanterns!
@aperfecttool72 Did you buy a paper today? Better knock that quarter off its edge.
@mcanavino Phil? Hey, Phil? Phil! Phil Connors?
@aperfecttool72… ditto.
@aperfecttool72 BING!
@aperfecttool72 Morons, your bus is leaving.
Will I be able to attach this to my new Quadcopter? I hope you have some extension cords coming up.

@Kidsandliz i think your maths are confused. wattage is based on ohms law but light output isnt. A 13 watt fluorescent bulbs has the same light output as a 40 watt incandescent.
@Kidsandliz We're here... (forgot my rocking chair in the shot)

@ChunkyBitz This is wrong. 40-watt incandescent bulb = 450 lumens 60-watt incandescent bulb = 800 lumens 100-watt incandescent bulb = 1600 lumens
@aperfecttool72 Pennywise reference?

Also the lanterns are fairly dim. They should be good for power outages though since they last so long, and some light helps over no light (as the Romans always said)
Aw, I love these stupid little lanterns! Haven't needed them for anything yet, but might be in for three more. Just in case.
@mossygreen Yep, it was only a matter of time: blunt-fitful-spoon.
I can only order 3?!?! I want to buy as many floatable lanterns so that I can make my homemade floatable lantern raft.
@GiantTarget complexity rose to levels we're not quite ready for on larger quantity. We couldn't push our luck and still have the fun combo.
I live in the middle of a desert-- what am I supposed to do with a floating lantern??
@WaltC Ah well-- toothsome-preferable-dirt -- sort of makes sense for the desert anyway.
@WaltC same thing you will do with the floating airplane seat cushion on your next flight home...
@WaltC If you buy it, you'll just be planning for the future. The current drought in your location can't last forever.
@WaltC Be the other object on Earth visible from space?
I love you dudes, dudettes, and duderini.
@madamehardy
If I order a lantern and a camera but get sent a camera and a lantern there'll be hell to pay.
Got bof' already, boss.
ok
Got any more of them docking stations?
I want this to spy on my dog. He has been digging a hole while I'm at work. Does it allow me to yell at him from my smart phone if i see him digging?
@kcface If the app you use supports it you can- there are both a mike and speaker on the camera.
@kcface you need this:
acceptable possible popcorn
I sure hope I get a camera and not a lantern. I need something to spy on my chickens when I'm at work.
@metageist Hope you bought the camera instead of a lantern then.
Please make a habit of offering more than 1 item per day. Would definitely make me more likely to renew VMP; haven't bought anything in months. :(
@versabox
one deal a day is the core of the meh.com experiment.
@versabox VMP will have application on other sites, as soon as we can get our act together on this one.
@versabox You can always go back to the 0ringinal one-deal-per-day site that now has 11 items per day PLUS probably another hundred from their mothership...
Is this camera worse than the Foscam? Just from the look and the name I'm thinking yes...
@Stallion It is a rebranded foscam, though it may be a different model than the one you're referencing.
@Stallion This is a rebranded Foscam, but it is NOT as good as the one they sold last week.
@TBoneZeOriginal As someone who's only owned Foscams (particularly that model from last week), what about this makes it "NOT as good"? Genuinely curious as I'm ready to pull the trigger here.
@jawe I also own several of the ones that were sold last week. However, the one being sold today is a FI8918 model. Here is a pretty good breakdown when you compare the two: http://foscam.us/forum/should-i-get-another-fi8918w-or-get-the-fi8910w-t1654-20.html#p7934 In a nutshell, the biggest difference is the IR Filter Cutoff feature.
@TBoneZeOriginal Thanks for the heads up. I too own 2 of the Foscam ones, and was considering another, but i'll hold out.
@TBoneZeOriginal Thanks! I think I'm going to hold off.
I think they are effectively the same, if I read everything right last time...
bent-faded-skin
@Kyser_Soze It seems kind of mean of that other lady to stick her foot in the photo like that.
@Kyser_Soze Best photo ever! You win!
@Kyser_Soze Is this a Terry Gilliam cartoon?
@Kyser_Soze Reminds me of another victim of that disease.
@Kyser_Soze Almost as bad as this Elephantitis
@Kyser_Soze KYSER SOZE!!!!!!! Your name rules.
I love Meh.
Mmmm, tasty-nutty-beer :D
If I buy a Camera will I get the Lantern this time.
BTW I never received the return shipping on the camera so Thank you for the Camera that you did not want back.
@bigfrank I didnt get one either and left mine unopened. I guess its safe to open and keep now?
This is brilliant. You guys are just the best!
Baby Arm.
@jqubed baby hand.
@JonT - Way to turn a misunderstanding into a great joke!
I've been wondering what percentage of camera recipients returned or paid for them?
@KDemo gah, I saw this sale and realized mine is still by the front door. Gotta print my label out. Hope it at least makes it into someone's fukoburo.
It was a sign from the heavens! Get your pets ready, Don't make any lunch break dates, TORTOISE CAM. It's on.
I hear Zoya's already lined up a very special guest for the first stream.. king of pop? just saying..

Spent $8 I wonder if 1 camera will show up. Btw the lanterns are great for checking on my son. He gets upset when the hall light goes on but the lanterns are just bright enough that he doesn't get disturbed from them even if I shine them right on him. Awesome purchase.
@sohmageek Good tip. In for one.
Wait, they tried to make you pay for something you didn't order? What is this, a Random House CD club?
Can I force Meh to pay me the $3 difference for tricking me into buying an IP camera a week ago for, um, $3 more?
Laugh in the face of a mistake and everyone else smiles. Nice work.
Love this sale today. Hate that I paid $4 more per camera when these were a two-for-tuesday. Love that I resold one of them on ebay for $47 dollars.
In celebration of my love-hate-love relationship with this sale, I splurged on a $4 lantern.
spectacular-wishful-mango
Hey, Meh, I've still got your camera. I never got the email with instructions about a shipping label to send it back.
@bkharmon ping meh.com/support
PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY TEST DRIVE ONE OF THESE THINGS: (the camera, not the lamp)
Ok, here is an actual review of the camera for those of you who are interested:
The camera is a great piece of hardware, very useful, not HD but descent image.
If configured properly here is what you can and cant do:
1.- The app depicted on meh is not functional unless you buy the insteon hub ... you are stuck with the web server built into the camera.
2.- There is a huge difference between using this camera on Internet Explorer and Chrome, safari, firefox... IE lets you save video and pics, listen and talk through the camera, add multiple channels on a single camera (view up to 9 cameras using one)
3.- The alarm setting on the camera is actually really useful it detects motion and sends an email a sequence of snapshots of said motion/activity.
4.- there is also an IP alarm, when your public IP changes it will let you know via EMAIL
My family just bought a house and we are planning on remodeling it, this is where the camera came useful.

please use responsibly, just test it, dont try to hack it please, as I am not going to be able to physically go there for another two weeks... I am doing this to help fellow mehrs.... who want to try it.
if you have any questions please let me know.
If you have any APP suggestions for using this camera, please also let me know, the mobile interface of the camera REALLY sucks.
Hope this helps
Best regards!

@jareza Thanks for the test drive! It's fun just letting others pan it all around and going along for the ride.
@jareza I use TinyCam Pro on Android and it works very well (I think you need to set up as a Foscam model). But the mobile web version, as you mentioned is completely serviceable on Android IMO.
@ACraigL Yep, Tinycam Pro is my choice too. The interface could use some fine-tuning/re-working but it's a solid app.
@jawe They seem to update it quite often, so there's that.
@jareza I thank you for the review, and especially the new ip camera server. Are they free? My old free service is for pay now. I'll have to try out my picky-snooty-wire on that. Cool, it's in Australia: http://map.what3words.com/picky-snooty-wire
@dave @dave Hi Dave, It seems that my little insteon camera either crashed or was brutally hacked... either way, could you please help me editing my post so that I can remove the log in information? Lets hope that the connection resumes tomorrow, my guess is that someone left their web browser open with the camera feed and now Im not able to log back in,
@jareza Yep, edited it all out. Hopefully not hacked, just freaked out at # of people signed in or something.
@dave thanks!!!
@jareza looked for Tinycam on iOS, guess only for android. Reviews not too good for Foscam or insteon but plenty of third party. Online manual says must be set up with one app, seen with another. Any iOS users have some favorites?
If they were offered at 20 I'd a gone for it. But.......not.
@AmazingChicken you could have got one for $20 a month or so ago. but you had to use the secret coupon code ("lantern") to get the discount.
Best total price on Amazon today is $37.50.
Meh.com = $30.00 + $5.00 = $35.00
Meh.
This thing had better work.
I forgot to mention that the camera allows just one connection at a time, so be patient, and if you are using it, please log off so others can play with it
I still have to return it. Sorry. It's on my to-do list. It'll go back this week.

bubbly-outstanding-leopard
I still have this camera sitting unopened by my door, don't think I ever received a return label. Can I just write return to sender on it still and drop it at the PO?? Or maybe I'll just buy it to save me the trip....
@alexpope I've decided that the delay in shipping labels is a strategy to make the weak-willed among us buy the thing. I'm about 96% ready to make the purchase.
Wow. Last week I blew 60 bucks on a non-night vision version on Amazon. You bastards would wait until today to sell this awesome camera/lantern. Why must you toy with my heart-strings?!
@connorbush return it to amazon, they have a great return policy
Just wait until everyone who ordered today gets a blu ray player instead.
@Lister I wish I had gotten a blue ray player!

@loonloon22 ew
@loonloon22 Best not post the first few thousand images; all Ron Jeremy.
@Mandamm easter weekend really stopped slow delivery slow in their tracks, i had one of my items stay in ohio from thurday to monday
@Mandamm Yeah, I had a bad handoff of a similarly routed package, purchased from the big "W." Finally got to me a month and a half down the road and it was the wrong thing. Had to complain.
Limit 3??? Aww man. I was in for 3 cameras worth of led lamps
Just to confuse the hell out of you guys, I placed two separate orders.
@mcanavino Actually, that will be just as frustrating for your postal carrier since it will likely result in two boxes for them to carry.
@RedOak Man, I hate that guy!
@RedOak Will never happen. 90% meh item won't fit and mail box so the post office holds it.
I'll order a lantern if I get the camera.
I placed two separate orders, then sent two separate emails to service spaced hours apart, each asking that the order be swapped to the other product, but I mixed up the order numbers in each email.
@JerseyFrank You're gonna get soup.
@JerseyFrank I'm guessing all the leftover T-shirts will be shipped to your address.
No Georgia Red. . . for that alone, meh.
I clicked Meh, then I purchased an unnecessary lantern. I hope they throw in a JBL Dock, because I definitely do not need it. Hopefully it doesn't end up in my never-used meh pile.
This is just a sneaky way of selling more than one item a day. Before you know it, AMAZON.
You guys are the shit.
@ACraigL
@mcemanuel He read everything and still couldn't connect to internet. And yes, he read the directions.
Relevant, Unexpected...Nacho.
These seem like good gifts--the cameras (hopefully). I have some people with new kids and setting up an IP camera seems like a great way to give them some peace of mind.
Meh processes payments through Stripe right?
How bad is the camera?
Ordered 2 lights, just like last time. Cant wait for my lights & cameras.
malignant-offbeat-anteater
Well, my box just arrived. Two cameras: check. One lantern: nope.
Apparently the concept is still eluding someone.
I got my lantern today, but it's broken. Sadface. I hope meh can get me another one.
This lantern was a lot tinier than I thought it'd be. But hey, at least I got the blue one. Someone at Meh loves me!
Anyone get this camera to work with a Mac yet? I run the tool and all I get is an empty box. The camera is plugged into the router.
@Mehrocco_Mole Email or call Insteon, info on their website. Foscam IPCam viewer app will work pretty fair after router setup.
