Film is back at the grocery store? Where do you get it developed? I love some of my old 35mm film cameras, the quality of the pics is just so phenomenal. I just haven’t used them in so long bc I don’t have a dark room anymore and don’t know anywhere I could go to use one. But I’d shoot in color and send my photos in.
@Star2236 Yeah! I literally saw it, walked by it, then had to walk back and do a double-take. Not only has polaroid film come back over the years, but it looks like 35 is crawling back as well.
@Star2236 Oh and developed, there are a lot of local places that process it, but that just depends on where you live. I know here in DFW we still have a couple of local shops that process it, just have to do some digging on google to find them. A few indie places have popped up over the past couple of years, which is great to see. If it’s black and white though, develop it at home for the hell of it with coffee!
If you’re lucky enough though, and you live in a place like Seattle or I think McKinney, TX had one, there are still developing rooms where you can process your own film if you want to. Just rent it out for the day or hourly. Might be worth hitting up a local community college to see if you could stop by or something.
@riskybryzness@Star2236 Maybe now I will be able to sell my Olympus OM1 with a bunch of lenses, filters, etc. as people are becoming interested in these again.
@thumperchick it’s beautiful!
So pretty! Dedicated to someone, obviously…
@Kyeh it’s for @puppycat. Didn’t want to blast her name to the internet, though.
@PuppyCat @Thumperchick I kind of suspected that! It’s lovely.
It’s got a certain lovely spirit. I saw the pix and thought “@puppycat”.
: )
Got this when film was dying out. Now it’s back on the shelves at grocery stores. Long overdue for more though.
