Put irks in the search engine there (and knowing that often doesn’t work) and the $40 one which came up as sold (and so wondered if that was an old deal). Then I saw the comments on meh about the cheaper one over there and then saw your post scrolling down. I’d say you deserve an extra special irk for catching there was no ink for irk thread. Of course meh may decided to be technical about it and claim since it isn’t a mehrathon on meh and only a side deal event we don’t get one… but hey it’s worth trying just in case.
@Kidsandliz Ha! “king of irks” I’m not even the janitor of irks. It’s funny how things appear from the outside. Behind the scenes it’s just a bunch of strangers doing the best they can and pretending everything is ok without any idea what’s going on. This weekend marks my 4-year anniversary working here. Still, I’ve never met ANY of the staff at this company in person, outside of the one single person I knew for years before I was hired. I’ve never seen the store or the warehouse myself. Hell, I haven’t even flown through DFW since starting this job. I don’t know the name of a single member of the warehouse team. I send a message to a group, conveniently labeled “Warehouse,” and hope someone (anyone) will help with the things I need help with. I’ve never seen an IRK in person (staff can’t get them, but I was gifted a few bags by a forum mod) and wouldn’t know who to ask to help make one special, because that stuff is handled by the warehouse team, and again I’ve never met any of them. We try to make it look smooth from the outside, but the reality is that this whole place is held together by yarn and old, reused pieces of duct tape.
Really, you’re all lucky that I’ve never pissed anyone off in the warehouse, because I can submit a request for irks to reach all of you and they get there 99% of the time. That said, there is absolutely no way I could ever influence what is in them without going way outside of my lane, nor could I tell anyone what they were going to receive since the boxes are packed and stacked before they get labels, so no one tries to “game” the results.
I have requested the creation of a few “special” IRKs, for folks, once or twice, but request is honestly the most I’m able to do and that always seems to land before a committee who make the decision either way. If anyone wanted special treatment they’d have to go well over my head.
All that said, I’m the guy who always tries to be here in the forum for you guys, and fought for the new ink badges, so feel free to bow before me and my clown costume.

@Kyeh thanks for letting me know… that’s terrible though… I’ve been a member for years, and bought hundreds of things… what a sad sad day… I’ve loved the last few IRK’s and my autistic son actually likes the Meh stuffy purple guy… lol
@sviz99 You can still get Irks (theoretically) but you can’t get them with a tattoo. The ink club got closed for good last year. You didn’t go out and get a Meh tattoo, did you? Did you manage to get an Irk on Sidedeal this time?
I realize it is sideways, but I am not going to try to fix it. Have a new phone which is wildly different from my last and the learning curve is like a winding switch back in some remote mountain.

I don’t know if this counts as an ink IRK or not. I seem to remember that we didn’t get them when they did it this way before, but I could be wrong.
