@dashcloud Irish Coffee: 1 cup hot coffee, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 jigger Irish whiskey, whipped heavy cream. Mix coffee, sugar, whiskey. Top with cream. Do not substitute fake whipped cream.
@dashbutt try a whisk(e)y sour. I prefer them sour (ie. without sweetener) but traditionally they have lemon juice, simple syrup and whisk(e)y. They also get some fruit as decoration (a cherry or two and an orange slice) but I never bother with anything other than the whisk(e)y, lemon juice and ice.
I usually use rye whiskey and lemon juice, say 3 parts rye to 1-2 parts lemon over ice. But any whiskey will work.
But seriously, you should learn to drink whisk(e)y neat (plain) or with a splash of water or with a wee bit of ice. This is how you really get the flavor of it.
@conandlibrarian Did Meh blend you up a good deal here?
@dashcloud I almost bought it until I realized it was not a Ninja. It seemed like the Ninja was for sale recently for not much more.
@conandlibrarian - Maybe keep drinking until you see the Christmas Day deal?
@KDemo
/giphy good idea!

@Cerridwyn I know. It’s a joke (along with some wishful thinking.)

But meh prices on good whiskey…
@2many2no don’t make me drool, m’kay
Do you realize how VMPs they would then have in less than a week, @2many2no?
Single-malt Scotch here. Cheers.
What are some simple (Irish) whiskey drinks?
I’ve done it straight, with ginger ale, and with 7up.
There’s only two ways to drink whiskey, @dashcloud… neat or on the rocks. That’s it.
