As long as we’re in mehdown mode, I’ve mentioned before I’d like to have a /blame or /goat command that automatically generates a text string referencing the active goat du jour.
/blame my “grade A” refurb HP workstation from Newegg being a beat down grade B- at best
The result would be:
I blame @djslack for my “grade A refurb HP workstation from Newegg being a beat down grade B- at best
@ruouttaurmind also they need the generic @current_goat that will just fill in the current goat every time the page is generated… so the blames can keep getting bumped to the current one.
@djslack I don’t imagine it would be difficult to create a “current_goat” var in the function, and resolve the var to an entry in a ascii file, or even a SQL record somewhere. Whoever is responsible for changing the goat badge each month could simply mod the ascii string or update the SQL record as part of the regular monthly process?
/meh
/8ball /meh?
Without a doubt
/giphy too much work to click one button
I blame
/goat
for this not already being in place.
@medz
/giphy that one would be easier to implement

@ruouttaurmind i don’t know that mehdown knows who the goat is, but it might not be that hard to make it happen.
/giphy goat destroying computer

@thismyusername I want an option to blame past goats also
@mfladd
You mean @Ryaneil?
/meh
drop the h and give us a /me
/me is pretty sure it will never happen.
@thismyusername
/me doesn’t understand how this wasn’t the first thing implemented.
In honor of @carl669, I propose
