I think I just finished Christmas shopping
11I usually shop early and often - spreading the cost out over the year. Lately I have been going smaller number, higher quality and trying to stick to $100 limits for each kid (from me. I also shop on behalf of my mother who does $50 per kid). I just purchased the last thing I wanted to and as I continue to update my inventory on my spreadsheet, it looks like I’m done. I even got stocking stuffers already. It’s crazy, because I’m not usually THIS early being done.
My kids also went crazy while quarantined and cleaned and put up the tree halfway through November… so that’s been done for a while too.
How’s everyone else doing on their holiday stuff?

Noice! I’m finalizing mine today. Feels pretty fab. I still have three canvases to paint though.
Wait, there was just Thanksgiving… that means Christmas is coming soon, huh? Guess I better get on it.
My family - all adults - decided several years ago to stop exchanging presents. But I keep cheating - I always end up finding a thing or two that’s just too perfect for someone, especially my mother who always feels cold; I keep buying her fleecy stuff since she rarely goes shopping anymore. It’s a lot more fun this way because the pressure is off.
@Kyeh I can’t wait until the kids are a bit older for this very reason.
We have pretty much finished ours, except for hubby’s dad, who is impossible to buy for. A lot of stuff is shipping direct to the family member who is hosting the family Christmas (which we don’t get to go to because we moved out of state) but I have a stupid amount of wrapping and shipping to do for the friends I bought for. Urgh. I have three trees ready to go up and be decorated, but have yet to get started. My chronic illnesses have been ganging up on me lately- hard to get anything done.
@Pony this is why we need a meh compound. Many hands light work. Also we would make all the cool things and have amazing yard displays and elfed houses. It would be epic!
