I don’t know if a shop knife is the same as a pocket knife, but here’s the one Christopher Schwarz recommends. He’s one of the few people whose recommendations I will automatically take without a further thought.
@SSteve My EDC knife is usually my Benchmade Osborne 940 or my Kershaw Leek.
The Leek is less expensive (maybe $45) and a smaller very handy size. I bought one of my Leek knives on Ebay as an “XXXX” blem knife fpr maybe $25. No warranty, but it was perfect. I could find no defects.

@CaptAmehrican When I worked at the drug rehab those leatherman tools were contraband. Amazing what a dedicated tweaker could achieve with one…but put shit back together? Not so much.
If you’re looking for pocket knives I suggest Cold Steel. I mean the knives are kinda meh, but the videos are fantastic, and you’ll probably buy a battle axe.
We never sell knives or speaker docks. Ever.

@Thumperchick
What’s a pocket knife? I never heard of those.
Not today, but it is meh… one day soon I am sure.
I would say go check morningsave.com but you will be wandering around for some time looking unless an employee performs a search for you.
@thismyusername http://mehstalker.com/
may help.
@blaineg There is a beta search over there now.

@thejackalope wouldn’t that be some sort of lathe?
@narfcake spinner pocket knives - not for use for those under 150 years old?
@Kidsandliz @narfcake
I was thinking more along the lines of this, only with 3 points for blades:
This is the battlebot Cobalt

@SSteve
Indeed, that is a very good knife:

He has a little little brother, also an excellent knife:

There are upgraded versions with better steels and various handle colors available.
All made in the USA.

@SSteve Looks nice, but at 70 bucks it’s too much for someone who tends to lose a knife about every 6 months.
All of my money for good knives has to go to kitchen knives- they get more frequent use and never get lost.

Because they frequently get lost, TSA confiscates them if you forget, and because deals are readily available on these:
I am a fan of leatherman tools instead of pocket knives
