I just realized we don’t know the answer to one of our culture’s most fundamental questions. Maybe someone here knows, but I certainly do not.

The question we most of us has asked since childhood is “Just who in the world is in the kitchen with Dinah?”

- @lumpthar If Annie needs to be asked as many times as she has been asked (with the popularity of those songs) I think it’s pretty safe to say that Annie is definitely NOT OK!!! (…and that maybe someone in law enforcement should look into solving the identity of “The Smooth Criminal”.)

- @lumpthar @tohar1 More to the point, since Annie is a woman, wouldn’t her flat response to that question be “If you don’t know, I’m not going to tell you!” (possibly followed by stomping out of the room, possibly followed by sobbing, definitely followed by yelling at me, no matter how I react or what I do).

Since no one in our family/friends growing up had Santa show up at their house for a party, it wasn’t until I was in college and saw a movie with that type of party scene that I realized Mommy wasn’t really kissing Santa.
Spoiler alert: Dad was doing some role play and the kid might not want to know what happened next.
