I know I sound like a nimrod, but I have to ask. When we post a new topic like this, where does the little photo in the circle next to the post come from? Does someone at meh put it there, or a moderator, or is it somehow automatic, or what?
It is fully automated to suggest one from Google. However, during the edit window of a topic, you can manually change your own feature / thumbnail image (the same image appears full-size at top of the topic once opened and in the rounded thumbnail)
you can change the URL there to one of your choice and the forum responds to replicate and host it.
Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar. From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.
@speediedelivery I was taught there are no dumb questions, only short sided people who don’t ask them. Because if you are wondering there are at least a handful more who are wondering the same thing
It’s usually a random pull from google images.
If it’s gross or weird, a moderator edits.

@snapster TIL. Thanks!
@snapster you beat me to it, I change my pictures often when I post. Hay, are you guys having a Secret Santa in the office this year?
You are right, you do sound like a nimrod!!
@turtlegurl you seem nice.
@turtlegurl c’mon gurl, where’s your holiday spirit.
@turtlegurl You mean Nimrod, the mighty hunter? The original fellow. Not Bugs Bunny’s mocking of Elmer?
@blaineg @turtlegurl
I feel kind of honored that the snapster responded to my post. Yay!
@moonhat I would pretty much be in awe if that happened to me, so I totally get it.
I was taught that the dumb question is the one you don’t ask.
@speediedelivery
Because it was dumb?

@speediedelivery @tinamarie1974 I’m wondering what a short sided person is? One leg longer than the other?
@unksol no, one leg shorter.
@tinamarie1974 Heard it as too shy or embarrassed the same. Also share the question with the group instead of whispering to your friend.
@speediedelivery @tinamarie1974 You could always ask “for a friend”.
@blaineg @speediedelivery @tinamarie1974
/giphy short sided people
/giphy asking for a friend
@speediedelivery @unksol haha
@blaineg @speediedelivery or ask your friend to ask for you. Sometimes as a short shy person I do that!
@speediedelivery agree!
@stolicat same diff :p
There are no dumb questions only dumb people.
