It’s been a while since I posted in this forum asking for help getting my scooter to charge. I thought I’d make this update saying it is now successfully scooting. See attached GIF:
Congrads-did you ever figure out whether it was new, returned and/or just missing some parts. The quality of good items received depends on which of the above your scooter was. All the xbox I got was missing the box-it had never been updated so never used and the warranty could be activated and registered.
@ilovecincinnati So this is really a stroke of luck. The charging port seems to have mistakenly been made in the wrong shape. This sucked because the charging adapter is 40v and all the universal adapters I could find max out at like 24v.
However, I was able to find a universal adapter which just happened to be one main cable with a set of little converters for the end of that cable. The main cable’s end happened to be the same shape as the OEM charger and one of the little adapter bits fit the misshapen charger port. So even though the universal adapter isn’t compatible it just happened to come with a piece that fixed my issue.
@mediocrebot Do you ever read your posts and come to the conclusion that they make absolutely no sense what-so-ever. Too many CAPTCHA on the brain probably.
@Felton10 Just so that perhaps you are less confused, the Bot is responding to when you say Awesome! with some fake lyrics for the rap part of the song “Everything is Awesome!” from the Lego movie. (see about 1:50 in this video)

@Felton10 Returned. Looks like a manufacturing mistake since the new charger I ordered didn’t fit either, a problem with the actual scooter body.
