Oh, I never do what my TV tells me to do because it’s a psychopath. I just do what random people on social media sites tell me to do. I’d toss out all of my Apple devices, but I mailed them a month ago to a stranger who does “pixel cleansing” ceremonies to rid electronics of bad influences.
So … which evil empire should we go to for stuff? Microsoft? Amazon?
@narfcake@therealjrn Oh god, that’s horrifying.
Especially because it gave me flashbacks to a very traumatic surgery/recovery.
It’s TMI, but I’ll just say that guy was lucky.
@DennisG2014 It was. There were other threads in which it went much more into details, but there was a collective cheer from Redditors when it was relieved.
@earlyre@Moose@RiotDemon I don’t know what you mean. I think more people should render entire television shows using bags of literal toasters and spoons.
In fact I’m going to watch Reboot right now! Instead of showering! With a bowl of cereal!
For 15 years, I worked for a different evil empire whose products Apple refused to use, so out of a sort of loyalty (to my meal-ticket and -mostly- the butt-load of their stock I accumulated), I avoided Apple products. By the time Apple finally came around, my avoidance was too ingrained to change.

@rockblossom

You’ve been here for 4 years, and this is what you decided was important enough to make your very first post?
BTW - I-crap-too. Everybody-craps.

@DennisG2014 @therealjrn You can’t be too certain:

@narfcake Yeah, I read the whole story. Didn’t look at the pics though… Nobody needs to see that shit!
I’m a “people”?
@sammydog01
We’re all just Soylent green.
@f00l @sammydog01
How do I know you’re not a tv?
@Moose
Like Mike the TV?
@earlyre That doesn’t look like a tv. That looks… gross.
@Moose i take it you never watched Reboot?
@earlyre nah I don’t watch anime
@Moose not anime…
@earlyre @Moose haha, that show did not hold up well. I used to love it.
@earlyre @Moose My childhood!
@earlyre @Moose @RiotDemon I don’t know what you mean. I think more people should render entire television shows using bags of literal toasters and spoons.

Wake up, people! Ignore your TV! You really should be obeying the orders of your neighbor’s demon manifested dog, Sam.
Come on it’s iCrap not i-crap get it right.

We didn’t miss you all that time, we won’t miss you in the future either.
@cinoclav I just didn’t realize I missed him until now. Stick around @TimACrow!
I for one welcome my new Apple-hating overlord…
…who seems to be named Tim and appears to identify as a crow.
I’m good with that.
I don’t do what my TV tells me, it’s too loud and never stops talking.
But those big Apple billboards along the highway …
} the ones that ~whisper~ to me so gently {
those I obey
Can I do what my radio tells me to do?
@Nate311 What’s “radio”?
@blaineg @Nate311 Back in the day, “TV” used to be called “radio” and before that “radio” used to be called “books.”
@blaineg It’s not for people who support the evil empire.
@blaineg @Nate311 @therealjrn back in the day crap was called shit
No, no, no. Google’s the bad ones. Since we can only ever have two kinds of anything, logical deduction indicates that Apple must be the good ones.

@macromeh lol… Butload of crap
I deal with this by always just avoiding everything.
/giphy avoid!
