It’s my daily at home connection to the interwebs. Browsing, shopping, email, etc. Same MO when I travel, though I also travel with a computer so I can do work stuff not easily accomplished on a tablet.
(When I bought it, I bought the 16GB option, though the guy sent me the 32GB version. When I mentioned it to him, he thought I was crazy for saying anything. I only said something though because there was a crack in the plastic housing by a corner of the screen.)
I have a tablet for a universal remote. TVs, DVRs, roku, chromecast, even iTunes on both computers can be controlled through an app. I used to use it for music and maps while driving, but I don’t need it for either anymore so it’s just a remote now.
I have a broken tablet that I use for navigation in the car.
The stupid battery did the balloon-expansion thing and pressed the display right off the front of the tablet.
(Science Project: I have a replacement battery coming from eBay tomorrow, so we’ll see if it can be saved.)
i have a tablet to use for games, internet, and media watching, but because it’s made by apple it’s now a pristine piece of hardware collecting dust as the software it was capable of running and thus app support became obsolete so fast.
it was fun while it lasted though. at least it was free. i mostly used it to blast podcasts throughout apartments i was cleaning.
I have a tablet that I rarely use. My ex gave it to me to replace actual books, but I like reading paper books still. He had already opened it and set it up so I couldn’t even return it. Occasionally I’ll use it to read manga that was never published in English.
If I traveled more, I would bring it for Netflix I guess. The rare times I do travel, I’m usually too busy. Soooo…
Huh.
I have a tablet to use for everything.
Little surprised that option isn’t on the list.
