I don’t have yearly resolutions, I have life resolutions. Like learn to draw a little bit, write more, take a improv comedy class, learn to do more photography. Do some voice work. That kind of stuff. Take a few extra classes to round out my Comm degree. All of which are still pending, but they’re in the queue.

My New Year’s resolution was to stop waiting for other people to do things with, to begin to do things by myself again after losing my best friend and constant companion suddenly. The first step was to start seeing movies by myself, and I just got home from the first one.

- @moondrake nice! I go by myself often. Sometimes it’s nice to go with people, but I like just being able to go whenever I want.

- @UncleVinny I went and saw The Post. It was good, renewed my respect for journalism, and my pride in our nation that recognizes the key role of a free press in a democracy. I’m planning to see all the Best Picture nominees in the next two weeks. Saw The Shape of Water a while back, I’m a big fan of del Toro’s work. I enjoyed it but it’s not my favorite.

I love the State Farm Mayhem commercials on resolutions this year.
Made none myself. Have 2 projects like @Targaryen right now and charting progress, one is slightly behind but both going good.

My New Year’s resolution was the same one I’ve made the past 15 years:

Don’t destroy the continent of Australia

I have been very good at keeping this up. Sometimes I’m tempted to decimate the land where every animal seeks to slaughter human life, but I remember that resolution and avoid pushing the button.
