I had to work… There are no holidays in Retail!
I don’t care if you are in a Union. (which i am)…come to think of it, it’s not even a paid holiday(time & 1/2)… gotta work on that contract…
No Man’s Sky is a kind of hand-powered dopamine crank. I am better at regulating alcohol. I may be better at not eating all the brownies, even. What a revelation in personal failure.
Started doing chores / cooking in the evening, got to bed about 0200 in the AM. Whoops!
Helped load a bdrm set I gave to someone from my old house then went to the furniture store to order some new LR furniture for the new house and ended up spending twice as much as planned. But glad to have gotten it done. I labored.

I hung out near/in my home as well. Went out with friends for lunch, tried to watch the dreck that was the Showtime free weekend–bleh.

Stayed in bed most of the day, and watched some shows I had fallen behind on.
Got the pool drained and covered and put the equipment away. Now I’m sunburnt and my muscles ache from all the bending.

Watched free Showtime with my hubby who is a new amputee, had KFC for supper. Much more relaxing than having a cookout for 30 people.
Did school with the kiddos (didn’t bother telling them public school didn’t meet Monday), housework, and finished mowing the yard.
I had two monarch butterflies emerge yesterday morning. I released them in the afternoon.
Another busted out at two thirty AM. Five more to go.
Slept in a bit, did some cleaning, went to the gym, went to a local bisexual support group.
Arms pleasantly sore. Head and heart pleasantly buzzing.
I labored, at work.
I watched a lot of college football and the US Open.
Had friends over Sunday night until after midnight. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, swam in the pool, and sat out by the firepit talking.
Did nothing on Monday except watch a marathon of Star Trek TNG with my oldest son.

Anchored the sailboat near Spencer Spit on Lopez island for one night, and in Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island the second night. Was really nice.
