How was your 2024 meh year?
9I gotta say, the more expensive IRKs were a total bust for me, worst bunch since I’ve been here, and that’s been since day zero. But I also made some good purchases too. So on a scale from 0 to 10, I’d say it my purchases this year were a solid 7.5

2024 was fabulous! I travelled to 6 countries and something like 9 states, did a lot of updates on my house, and ran 11 races.

@Kyeh, I did order the “2-Pack: TravelSmart by Conair All-In-One International Adapter with 2 USB Ports” for my trip to the UK. So meh kinda did play a part.
I tend to block the memory immediately after purchasing, so I had to go back and review my orders.
It seems I only bought 3 battery packs this year, which is a bit of a low watermark. It also looks like I leaned into my spicy side with a bunch of Buldak and 100 bottles of Yellow Bird hot sauce. PSA, do NOT hit refresh if an order is slow to process. Only two knives, a smattering of IRKs (one with new Cuisinart mixer… so that was a win) and a few orders of jerky. A few other odds and ends and wrapped up the year with a case of Bottled Cheer. Looks like 19 purchases in total, so I guess that VMP is paying dividends?? 
And more importantly, @somf69 how is your kid doing?

That’s a great idea for the blisslights. I couldn’t think of any use for them but my sister said my nephew is beginning to be afraid of the dark so I’m gonna buy a couple for him.
I’ve also seen pics of them used in the bathroom and it looks really cool if you have an all white shower.
I didn’t get any irks to write home about. I did buy some of those foam gummy bears and handed them out as stocking stuffers to everybody (just ate them myself). They’re pretty good. Everybody I gave them to liked them a lot. A lot of the stuff I bought this year is still in the box so it must not have been that important. The yoga wheel was a bust, I used it once and it’s just sat the rest of the time. Socks and stoner lawn gnomes were just as Xmas presents.

Best purchase… The sunscreen!
Worst purchase… The wine spritzers (the sunscreen tasted better)

i bought the trails best salami twin pack. twice. and now meh won’t sell them again, and i hate them for it. that’s right meh, I HATE YOU!
i probably bought some other things and stuff too.
One of those years. Lots of minor or medium “challenges”.
Nothing catastrophic just tiresome
As for purchases, all I can remember getting a couple of those speakers that can be chained to make stereo or whatever
Plus tattoo irks.

as far as irks go, it was pretty darn good. I got a couple of nifty things in irks that either I was able to use, went to good homes or I was able to sell.
Personally was kinda meh.
