@mcanavino That's awesome! That's public somewhere?! Weird... Also, my 'wow' comment was supposed to be in the Steak Knives thread... Looks like I suck at the internets
My wife, in her pre-wifey days, started a Family Dinner Night tradition with her close friends/roomies where they'd take turns preparing an elaborate dinner once a week. Now that it's dwindled down to only one of them living close by anymore, they alternate weeks, hosting at our house one week and her friend's house the following.
wow
@justinjones41 People who buy banana boat floating speakers don't need friends.

does this count include people you are related to?
@DMlivezey Good question. I voted "Maybe Once a Year" because we don't really like to entertain, but family comes a bit more often than that.
Depends on how large they are and if they'll fit in the freezer.
@Pavlov Stop eating the guests. Soon no one will be left to come over.
@MrsPavlov ?????? No
Fuck it?
@unksol
Fuck it.
@Pavlov You can get more meat/sq inch if you grind them up.
@Pavlov Just buy a bigger freezer. Problem solved.
People? In the same room with me while I'm eating? Ew.
Cleaning up the house and cooking resembles work way too much.
And interferes w me slouching in bed watching youtube all day.
Not counting family (including extended) and friends of my kids... maybe once a year, if even
i only said "a couple of times a month" counting my bachelor uncle, and my sister and her kids/hubby.
not counting them... almost never...

Other than that, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Over for dinner, or for dinner? There is a difference.
But the kids like both.
@mfladd How about "over TO dinner" or "over FOR dinner"? Basically, dine with, or dine on.
@LaVikinga Don't get semantically inclined with me.
We having a dinner party on Sat. We would like to have you over FOR dinner. We just won't take no for an answer.
Not nearly enough......
