Phone, doorbell and some outdoor cameras. I guess the TV too. I don’t use the “smart” functions but I imagine someone else is using them to surveil me.
Phone, Google speaker and question answerer, themostat (heat only), package receiving box that texts me when opened and one smart light bulb (that we have only working from its switch, so maybe it is not smart). Probably some other things I can’t think of.
Phone, watch, a couple bulbs, outlet plug-in things, Google displays, thermostats, doorbell, TV but we hooked up a roku bc it works better than the original smart TV’s stuff. A camera to see what the dogs do when they’re alone.
I got my first Google home speaker from an IRK several years ago. It all went downhill from there, really.
We’d avoided nearly any smart anything besides the phones pretty successfully until we got a new house and it came with almost as many WiFi devices as we were bringing with us. Now the seal is broken and we keep getting more, and the IoT VLAN is already pushing twice the size of the acceptable client one. I’m not saying the smart whatever aren’t convenient when they work, or that making them work with each other or with HomeKit (shoutout to HomeBridge and Home Assistant!) hasn’t turned into an interesting and time-consuming side project, but I can’t deny there’s a part of me that wants the simplicity of the old turn-on-the-TV-and-punch-a-number and misses not needing to segment the network for security. That part of me probably also wants kids to stay off of the lawn, now…
Phone, watch, tv (but we use the tv instead) lights, irrigation system, doorbell, cameras, thermostat, room/door sensors, speakers, door lock…but we’re always running hyper beta software, so there’s always at least one thing that doesn’t work right.
Nothing.
I wouldn’t really call Siri all that smart somedays.
@show_the_maw
Hey!
Siri might be a dumbass, but so am I.
/giphy dumbass
If I could trim to the “gun and a printer” level I would
Smart phone and a smart-ass (grown) son. But he makes me laugh a lot.
Shout out to all my Home Assistants
@thismyusername The help hates it when people shout.
Router says 50 devices currently connected.

I not sure how smart the gadgets are. I cannot figure out how to use them.
Just the phone. I think “smart” means “easy to hack”.

@jsfs
If there are any kids or grandkids inside the house just send them outside to play on the lawn to get some peace inside.
Blinds, speakers, lights, phones, watches, etc.
Still haven’t fully figured out how the TV part works because of all the streaming services and Apple TV.
Phone and watch, only because my spouse got the watch for free.
Last house I had all smart bulbs, garage doors, power strips, etc.
Didn’t bother setting them up in the new house. More trouble than worth in most cases.
