I cry “Foul” to the Goat (I’m sure he’s to blame, too busy making up fuk-yous to pay attention):
Radio buttons are implicitly mutually exclusive; your poll choices are blatantly not.
E.g.: Three or four could be enough or too many; same for more than four and even one or two.
I demand logical consistency; this site warps my brain enough as it is.
Bought my first powerbank more than 10 years ago. It was a Zagg Sparq. It lasted a good amount of time before I finally broke it. Still have the powerbank I bought to replace it, and the powerbank I bought a few years later because that one was slow and didn’t have enough capacity. And then I bought one on here recently because it was small cheap and usb-c. I’ve gotten a few super shitty powerbanks in fukos/irks too, but didn’t keep them.
My bluetooth speaker also advertised that it could be used as a powerbank. Should I count that… Also my phone has reverse wireless charging, does that mean it counts as a powerbank too?
@mitzoe
Hope yours is better than mine. It takes f’n FOREVER to charge mine with solar. But, OTOH, I guess in the zombie apocalypse it will be better than nothing.
The joke in my household is that if my cell phone falls below 90% charge I must be in “crisis mode”.
I almost never use my cell phone outside of two-factor authentication for work and an occasional phone call.
The 15 minutes a day that I am in the car is usually enough to get it back to 100%. I can’t even remember the last time I had to charge my phone with an actual electrical outlet in my home, much less a power bank.
Including the single-18650-cell “lipstick” ones, over a dozen. I have four decent multi-cell ones ranging from 6-10Ah that I tend to keep mostly charged and try to cycle through every month or so. I have a solar panel charger as well, tho it is not all that great.
I picked too many in the poll because maintaining a charge, and cycling it, on this many packs is a PITA.
I mean I shop here, so boxes full in my garage and several in my nightstand. Never know when you may need emergency power in the bedroom
@tinamarie1974 Bow chicka wow wow.
@tinamarie1974
Pass-through charging’s best
Toys to batt pack to the wall
Constantly ready
I do not own any power banks.
@yakkoTDI Turn in your meh card.
@yakkoTDI
In Glorious Mehniverse, power banks own YOU!
@yakkoTDI Does a UPS or an EV with USB charging ports count? If not, then I also have none.
I have lost more power banks than I can count, and I can’t count the ones I can find. I need help.
Lost one, have a few. Couple of dead ones.
current-ly own … I see watt you did there
@awk
That kind of wordplay
As I glance over shoulders
We don’t do that here
@awk
I have to overcome my resistance to laugh at this

Sliding scale of need
Bounty or inadequate
That’s why they are there

@Oneroundrobb
/eightball well, does it?
Yes definitely
None, because I’m rarely away from home longer than a day.
@brennyn
So you’re telling me
No power outage planning
And no Mehrchandise
Four ready for use but now my phone goes a few days on a charge. The sneaker power bank works great for holding my book open for hands free reading.
@callow
Sneaker power bank
Holds things open and wraps feet
Also it kicks ass
I have one with a solar charging panel, and I’ve only ever used it once. Never felt the need for more.

It’s not a number. I suspect if I put them all in the same place, something terrible would happen.
I will check when i get Ohm.
/giphy Ohm
@cattylaq Ohm.
