Depends on my mood. The only way I don’t want it is super sweet. If there is to be sugar it should be to complement the level of bitterness. I can’t handle the syrupy sweet drinks that people order from Starbucks and Dutch Bros type places. Those drinks aren’t actually coffee IMO. Other than that, I’ll take it however it’s made.
@therealjrn it’s overrated. If you’re in the Portland area and need coffee, just hit me up and I’ll make you one if it means you don’t pay for overpriced, over roasted dessert in a cup.
Ethiopian Heirloom Beans, roasted to medium-light, fresh ground, made with non-tap water, a cup at a time. Black, it needs nothing else.
Occasionally something else. Have this place where the owner experiments with a lot of seasonal syrups. He makes them. My favorite he’s ever done was a juniper-strawberry. Instead of made into a latte, I have him add a bit to some cold brew. It was amazing.
And occasionally something different hot or cold depending. (and very very rarely punkinspice). Right now my other go-to has a vienna latte. it’s cold, made with whatever they are using as a syrup. They add the milk to the syrup, then the ice, top with espresso and then a rich vanilla cold foam (not a ton). It’s pretty to look at and tastes great too.
Oh! I forgot to say. I only started drinking coffee in the 1990s at a place in Manhattan Beach called “Coffee Etc…” that was run by a nice Japanese couple. They would include a little plastic condiment cup with apple juice(!!!). I had no idea if this was a before/after pallet cleanse thing, but one day I poured the apple juice into the coffee … and liked it.
I have NEVER seen that anywhere ever again. My question is, has ANYONE ever seen this anywhere?!?!?!
I like some coffee with my cream and sugar.
Deliciously.
Cold and black, like my heart.
/youtube Airplane! Coffee black like my men
I have no coffee, and should prefer to continue that way.
Flavored Creamer which has sugar, None added.
As tea
With stevia, like that psycho lady in Breaking Bad. But really like that, with a little cream or almond milk.
Massive quantities and black.
Preheat a few ounces of milk in a mug, then pour over through a Melitta filter on top of it.
As my professor used to say, “Ooooooh, black and bitter!”.
/showme black and bitter cup of coffee.
Preferably cold-brewed Colombian.
I can drink coffee without sugar, but I got to have dairy to offset the bitterness.
I now add a spoonful of honey
@user74860313 wow. My brain is clearly tired. I read I now add a spoonful of horny!

@sillyheathen

Gotta put that kinky caffeine coffee buzz to good use.
However it is served up.
I take my coffee in a cup or mug.

@sillyheathen When I saw my first Dutch Bros coffee store, I thought it was a really small paint store.
Still haven’t had a coffee from there.

@sillyheathen If I’m in Portland, you can betcha I’ll need a coffee. That’s a loong way from Tulsa, let me tell you!

With Kahlua, brandy, whipped cream, and dusted with cinnamon. What a perfect after dinner desert.
With lots of coconut cream
How about a Hot Coco instead… complete with little marshmallows, Whipped Cream Would be nice!
@mycya4me I have tried to mix coffee and cocoa with mixed results. Poor man’s mocha only so-so good.
@cfg83 Good for you, Personally I would not wish to try it!
