@sohmageek Hmmmm But my coffee's not that bitter. Light roasted, third way, African heirloom, hand poured (or at least a showerhead) or syphon. It's sweet without even adding sugar.
@dashcloud Oh, you are some funny guys. I love coffee, and I don't care for dark roasts (nor for varietals that require them). I love Moka, Ethiopian Harrar, Kona Peaberry, and (of course) Jamaican Blue Mountain. Upon the rare occasion that I put sugar or milk (or both) in my coffee, it's a commentary on my need for caffeine, and the poor quality of the delivery system ($tarbucks, for example).
I love coffee. I love chocolate covered coffee beans. I love coffee gelato (it's what I had for lunch). I normally drink coffee black, like my heart.
@Shrdlu In my experience, the best way of dealing with a forced-Starbucks situation is an Americano. It's like… the espresso starts bold enough so there's flavor, but then you water it down enough to mask the imperfections… better than getting either espresso or drip, and that's my predicsplanation why. YMMV!
@nadroj as "awesome"in a ha ha way as that is,DO NOT TRY IT! as obvious as that sounds.... I had a friend, who worked with some emt's, who one night, I'm guessing after a few drinks, had that bright idea to hook up a Coffee IV. She spent the next few days in the hospital because of, for lack of a better term, acid burns to her vein(s).
Pretty sure it was the Malcolm Gladwell spaghetti sauce article (also a TED Talk?) where it was noted that something like three-fourths of us claim to like rich, dark, strong coffee, but in blind taste tests we actually prefer watered down, milky, weak coffee.
I always do black. Espresso/Americano at home, Perc at werc, pourover at my local roaster. I don't think I've ever even attempted to use the steam wand on my espresso machine for anything other than relieving boiler pressure. The only thing I will do is occasionally mix spices into grinds to get a very cleanly-flavored brew. If I ever have a breakdown, quit my job, and steal a café from someone, this will be my selling point…
butt chug
@Cerridwyn I'm going to leave this here... just for my fellow black coffee drinkers to enjoy.. ;) http://www.rawstory.com/2015/10/beware-of-black-coffee-drinkers-study-links-enjoying-bitter-tastes-to-psychopathy/
@sohmageek Interesting article. Especially since I like the taste of

@sohmageek
My mom just asked me about that the other day. Worried, apparently.
Why does everyone ask "take your coffee?"?
No one says, "how do you take your steak?"'
@saodell I take my steak and put it in my mouth. Isn't that how everyone takes it?
@Thumperchick Unless I have a black eye
Shaken, not stirred.
Regulah (3 cream & 3 sugar)
I take my coffee crisp!
A large dose of 50% Half&Half and 50% Chemical Hazlenut creamer
So half half & half and half ersatz half & half?
@KDemo I love that word!
@shrdlu How do you take your coffee?

Orally. You weirdos.
@Thumperchick too slow.
@nadroj AWESOME!

There should be an answer of "any/all of the above" or simply "Yes"
I mostly drink coffee with half-n-half. If no half-n-half, black is fine. Sometimes iced. Rarely with sugar.
Black, like my men.
@ThatsHeadly
@nadroj 15 is my limit on schnitzengruben
Coffeemate.
Dark, like my fucking soul.
@jaremelz
@Thumperchick She might be smiling, but that face still says, "Bitch, I will cut you".
On the veranda.

Espresso or Cappuccino, please
Black as night and sweet as sin.
Irish Coffee. (Jameson's at the moment)
I love my bastdardized Cafe O'Parisien to start a day of watching football. One finger of Irish cream and one and a half fingers of cognac.
Orally. If someone here prefers it another way, I would rather not hear the details.
@rockblossom please see my answer above
@Lotsofgoats And fortunately, no details.
@rockblossom well there's a funnel and some internal burns involved
Like I take my women: cold and bitter.
@macromeh I was waiting for someone to say "ground up and in the freezer..."
@Thumperchick That is usually me... Well on the last two. I was AFK my bad. See below.
I take mine without the coffee grounds. Add tea leaves.
I like my coffee the way I like my women.
Without a dick.
Regular old coffee, with a hazelnut creamer. When I'm having some Cuban espresso, it has to have just sugar, and lots of it.
I just pull up to the Tim Horton's Drive thru, "one XL Double Double Please", fork over $2.15, drive away, enjoy!
For @stardate820926 and @jaremelz
@KDemo Love it!
And a cup for @snapster's breakfast
@KDemo I love all of these!!! The Scream is one of my favorite paintings and Totoro is just adorable. Great finds!
@KDemo
@editorkid - I was hoping to start a foam-off. (That beard looks fake) Haha.

@brhfl- I would come to your cafe.
@brhfl I would come to your cafe.
Cold brew iced. Black or w coconut milk.
On v cold days, latte. When i want a taste to savor instead of caffeine, espresso.
Local coffee shop: large salted caramel latte, "not too hot"
Starbucks: venti skinny quad caramel macchiato kids temp, stirred.
If I'm feeling adventurous, or under caffienated, I'll chase that with a venti skinny quad iced caramel macchiato.
I like my coffee how I like my women; ground up and in the freezer. @Thumperchick
Just kidding NSA this is a joke. Not being for realzies.
Coffee FTW:
