@tinamarie1974@yakkoTDI I have a brother-in-law who sometimes sleeps with his eyes open and I admit it is indeed freaky.
By an eerie coincidence, the reason I know this is because the time I witnessed it was during a Christmas gathering when he fell asleep in a chair, after getting up early that day because of eager kids.
@DrWorm@tinamarie1974 I used to sleep with my eyes open when I was real young. It is still way less freaky than my mom who sometimes sleeps like a corpse. You have to wait and make sure she is still breathing.
@chienfou@tinamarie1974@yakkoTDI The fact that you waited a week to post this comic makes it even funnier. If you had waited until spring, it might have been greatest forum post of all time.

yeah, I am woefully behind in my meh reading. Today (this AM) is actually a little peaceful in the ER so I am getting ‘caught up’. Come mid afternoon and I imagine it will be ‘no room at the inn’ time once again.
fine, even though i am a child inside. (i love christmas and hate when it’s over so my whole life i have annoyed those around me - not by getting up at the asscrack of dawn but instead by waiting as long as possible to open anything, and doing so very slowly )
I expect to sleep peacefully - decorations were in place and presents were all purchased, wrapped and ready a week ago, and we had our family-get-together-dinner on Wednesday this year to accommodate various schedules. So Christmas Eve/Day should be pretty stress-free this year.
Poorly, like every other night
On my side.
Fine, because I’m ready…

With my eyes closed
@tinamarie1974 Sleeping with your eyes open freaks out more people though.
@yakkoTDI true, but I’ve never been able to master the skill.

@DrWorm @yakkoTDI in high school I was envious of a classmate who could fall asleep in his seat with his eyes open. Teachers never caught him!

Fretfully, due to all the alcohol consumed beforehand.
Once wound down & relaxed, I sleep well. Pretty much the same as most other nights, except for wrapping gifts, filling stockings, and eating cookies.
@compunaut are you SANTA CLAUSE?!?!
Very little, because I’m up half the night wrapping presents.
@katbyter same
I don’t sleep at night, but morning. That way I can check Meh.
